[By now, Jennifer was familiar with the sounds of a new crewmember arriving. It was always a little exciting, especially because she knew she'd been lucky to land on a ship where they had everything upgraded fairly well.

She finally found the new arrival headed toward her room, giving a friendly smile.]

Hey there- how're you doing?

[princessia]

[ On the way to her room, Elize freezes up to look at the woman addressing her. However, seeing the smile puts her at ease. All of her crewmates are so nice to her. ]

Hi... [ She greets her back timidly. ] I'm doing better. Are you my crewmate too?

That's good. I know arriving here can be... a bit of a shock, to say the least.

[She nodded.]

I'm Jennifer- I'm our resident doctor, in fact.

[princessia]

It was scary. [ But she's doing better now. She attempts a small smile. ]

I'm Elize Lutus. My augment's personnel support. [ Words that she doesn't know if asked to define it... ]

I understand... being pulled away from home and dumped here can't be easy on anybody.

[She nods.]

Well, I'm glad you're aboard. Have you been able to get a good look around the ship yet? We've gotten a lot of upgrades, so you lucked out.

[princessia]

[ She shakes her head. ]

Not too much. I was just heading to my room. [ She looks over to the door leading to it. It has a plate with her name on it. ]

It's like I have my own office...

[forsometimenow]

Oh- you must have a special augment, then, to have been given your own office. ... you know about the augment, right?

[princessia]

Y-yes! I know that I can operate some of the equipment now.

[ She just doesn't know what the words "personnel support" even mean. But she can still perform her duties if needed. ]

Oh, good. It's a little strange to get used to, but having a new skillset can come in handy once you know what you can do. Have you been able to meet the rest of the crew yet?

[princessia]

I've met Kaneis and I heard about Lloyd. [ She cracks a small smile again. Still a bit scary for her to speak with others, but she's excited to make more friends. ] I hope I can meet everyone else soon.

That's good. Yeah, we've been pretty busy- I don't know if you heard, but the Fleet got attacked earlier this month, so we've been a bit scattered, helping everyone else repair their ships and getting supplies at the waystation we landed on.
