Hello everyone. I'm Sora. [He pauses for a moment, as he has to shove aside the urge to introduce Goofy and Donald too. They aren't here with him. He's in this by himself for now. At least there are good people here too.]

I just arrived. I was assigned to the Bishop's security team. Which, uh, I don't think they need a ton of help in that area... [I mean, have you seen the person in charge of Bishop's security?]

But I still want to make sure I do my best to help my crew! The, uh, chip in my head [He talks about it like he still isn't sure what it is or what it does or if he should be worried about it] gives me the basics I need, but any pointers you have to share would be awesome.

Any tips to survive out here in general too. Let me hear them!

Is there anything you're very unsure of at the moment? Maybe I can help with that first.

Sure. I can't call the Keyblade - uh, that's my sword [He explains as he rubs the back of his head]. When I try my head starts to hurt.

Is that normal?

For here? I would say so. I don't have any special powers like some others in the Fleet, but from what I have come to understand those with gifts can have them muted to a degree. For the time being, I wouldn't try to summon this Keyblade.

Yeah, I figured that part out at least. [He says this cheerfully, though there is a part of him that feels uncomfortable not having the Keyblade at hand. He feels too vulnerable without it.]

How are these ships managing to travel between worlds? Don't the Heartless give them trouble?

_{[ He titled his head slightly. ]}

Heartless? What are those?

They're monsters made from the darkness in people's hearts. Trust me, if they were around you'd know. They like to mess everything up.

As far as I can tell we’ve never come across them. Which sounds like a good thing if they do exist in this reality.

You sound like you’re used to the concept of other worlds - other planets. Do you have space travel where you’re from?

Sure do! But the pathways were mostly cut off before the Heartless came. Most of the worlds I've gone to don't know there are other worlds out there. It's still kind of weird that I get to talk openly about this stuff.

Pathways? How were you traveling between worlds?

In my ship! Well, it belongs to my friends but I've learned to fly it lately.

Ah, so you just mean the routes between planets then?

_{[ Interesting term, pathways, but it was... nice. He liked it. ]}

_{[ Didn't sound like a big ship. ]}

On the gummi ship? Yeah! It's just me, Donald, and Goofy. We travel to other worlds and try to stop the Heartless. We also took on this group of Nobodies called Organization XII.

I used to think they were all bad guys, but lately, I've learned some things that made me think plenty of them were being manipulated.

Some of them were still bad, though. Real bad.

A gummi ship? What's that?

I can't say I've heard of Nobodies or Organization XIII though. But it sounds like it was rough going. I wish I could tell you it will be smoother here.

Well, yes, I gathered - what I meant was what kind of ship? I've never heard of a gummi ship before.

_{[ He blinks and then he chuckled. ]}

Heh, thanks. I'll be counting on you, though I can take care of myself pretty good.

Hm. I know it's made out of gummi blocks? I never really asked why they're called that though.

_{[ All right. That's concerning, but this kid seemed okay so far, so...

So are these ships anything like the gummi ship you were on? The Bishop is a bit different from the Tourist, but they share some basics, and we have the shared common space ship of the Iskaulit.

They don't look the same exactly, but it's the same concept. The cockpits are mostly laid out the same, except on the gummi ship it's on the top of the ship with a dome window over it, and on the Bishop it's on the front. They look totally different, but that's because the gummi ship has big white seats and more lights.

There's more space in this ship too. The gummi ship doesn't really have a lot of living space. This one has rooms for everyone and everything.

Heh, yeah, well, we can be drifting for weeks at a time between planets. I think everyone would go a little crazy if we had to stay strapped into seats that entire time.

Not to mention how restless your legs would get. Wouldn't you want to just get up and jump around?

_{[ He laughed broader this time. ]}

Yeah, I would. I like my chair on my ship back home, but I do like to get up and walk around the bridge from time to time.

You have a ship back home too?? You have to tell me about it!

_{[ Another chuckle, because this kid just keeps drawing them out of him
for some reason. ]}

Ah, sure, if you like. She's pretty big - holds my crew of 400 comfortably with room for supplies and the extras needed to keep her going and the crew healthy. Constitution class, with twin warp engines and a nuclear core, and the newest and best information and data arrays in the Fleet.

[He didn't understand half of that, except that it sounded big.]

With that many people, it's basically a small village, isn't it?

That’s a good way to look at it, yeah. I’m basically the mayor since I’m captain, and we all work together to keep the ship in shape and accomplish our mission. It’s kind of the same here if quite a bit less formal.
