Hello everyone. I'm Sora. [He pauses for a moment, as he has to shove aside the urge to introduce Goofy and Donald too. They aren't here with him. He's in this by himself for now. At least there are good people here too.]

I just arrived. I was assigned to the Bishop's security team. Which, uh, I don't think they need a ton of help in that area... [I mean, have you seen the person in charge of Bishop's security?]

But I still want to make sure I do my best to help my crew! The, uh, chip in my head [He talks about it like he still isn't sure what it is or what it does or if he should be worried about it] gives me the basics I need, but any pointers you have to share would be awesome.

Any tips to survive out here in general too. Let me hear them!

Sure. I can't call the Keyblade - uh, that's my sword [He explains as he rubs the back of his head]. When I try my head starts to hurt.

Is that normal?

For here? I would say so. I don't have any special powers like some others in the Fleet, but from what I have come to understand those with gifts can have them muted to a degree. For the time being, I wouldn't try to summon this Keyblade.

Yeah, I figured that part out at least. [He says this cheerfully, though there is a part of him that feels uncomfortable not having the Keyblade at hand. He feels too vulnerable without it.]

How are these ships managing to travel between worlds? Don't the Heartless give them trouble?

[She really needed to get on selecting a new first mate already. At least that way the next time she does something dumb and her augment glitches out, she can pass the buck greeting the newbies. But she hasn't, so she can't, so not long after Sora's broadcast she'll be tracking him down aboard the ship looking...just, half asleep, really.]

Call for backup if you find yourself in trouble. That tip in particular should apply to most situations.

[Though, with Looma, it's one of those "do as I say, not as I do" type situations. And those two sentences are about as far as she gets before she cuts herself off with a long yawn. Unsurprisingly, Tetramand manners seem to be nonexistent on how to deal with that, so there's no politely covering her mouth, here.]

Even counting only those aboard this ship, most are capable of handling themselves in battle. Of the three I haven't personally observed, I have assurances at least two of them can handle themselves. So long as you avoid doing anything too foolish, you will be fine.

[Sora grins at her, clearly a little too cheerful when interacting with someone so sleepy, but she's probably going to have to get used to that.]

It's nice to know that I'm on a ship where people can count on each other. I don't know where I'd be without my friends back home.

Then this should be a learning experience, as you are likely without them now.

[That...came out a bit harsher than she'd intended. Which is saying something, really- mostly about the fact she even noticed at all, and actually tried to soften it a bit with something a little more reassuring.]

If it is any consolation, they will not notice you've left. And should you ever find your way home, not even you will remember leaving. Everything will continue as it was.

Psycho Mantis, personnel support of the Bishop. It isn't that badly protected. What it lacked in your new role being filled in it made up for in having a couple of old professionals at fighting.

Nice to meet you! So far I like everything I've seen on the Bishop. It's completely different than the ship I have back home, but different isn't bad. It's a new chance to learn if anything.

Hey, Sora. [ He nods. The Iron Bull. [ And the big guy with the pretty sweet eyepatch and...?horns?...smiles at the screen, giving a deep chuckle before continuing. ] Having a tight security team's not a bad thing, kid. It means nobody has to try to be a hero. Remember that.

[ He doesn't care if death isn't permanent around here. The last thing he wants to hear is this kid ran off and got himself killed being a Big Damn Hero. ]

So far nothing's been too light threatening. [ He doesn't need to know about the zombies. ] How about you ask some questions and I'll see what I can come up with? If I don't know the answer, I probably know who does.

[ Whenever he can, Sam prefers not to interact on the network - a pointless precaution, probably, considering they're supposedly on TV at any give time of the day anyway, but one he can't quite give.

So a little bit after he sees Sora's broadcast, he heads off in search of him around the ship, and stops to greet him with a small smile whenever he finds him. ]

Hey. Sora, right? I'm Sam, I'm the Bishop's cook.

[A cook? That's definitely something the gummi ship didn't have.

Sora returns Sam's smile with one of his own.]

Everyone on the Bishop has been super welcoming. Do you guys get new people all of the time?

It's pretty random. In the time I've been here we've had maybe have a dozen? And lost a couple to transfers or just them disappearing, got a few back.

[ He knows the exact number, really, can name them all, but he at least knows better than to show the way he paranoidly keeps track of shit like that. ]

But Looma's a good captain, and we try to keep you guys fed as well as we can.

Uhm... [Shinji clears his throat a little bit.] Stock up on real food whenever you can. Don't just settle for--you know, that protein paste stuff, it can get really gross and annoying after long enough. So, when you're somewhere with real food, that's what you want to spend your money on. Save it for when the Fleet is in between stops. [He doesn't often feel like speaking to newcomers, but he's been dealing with this kind of thing lately, so...

After a short, awkward pause, he adds,] Just my opinion.

It's a pretty good opinion too, I think. I don't want to get stuck just eating that paste either!

Peanut butter. [Uhm, to clarify:] The paste that's peanut butter-flavored is more edible than not. I ate a lot of it when I was just starting out... but, yeah, I wouldn't trust the other flavors.

That's good advice. [And something that he hasn't had to deal with before because the Keyblade kept itself clean. It's good someone pointed out he'll have to do that again.]

You don't want a faulty weapon when shit hits the fan. You need to be able to know that it will be reliable for you.

You seem to at least be rolling with the punches of just showing up in a place like this, so that's good. Pretty much the first huge hurdle down. Keep calm, make friends, don't panic too much. Sometimes we can end up on dangerous planets, so you wanna learn some self defense in case that happens, even if it's just basic stuff. Get a weapon--most ships have armories, or just ask someone to grab something off their ship. But overall, it's really not too bad as long as you keep your chin up. There's a lot of great people here.

I think I got most of that covered. Though I'll have to find a new weapon. I can't call the one I usually use yet... [That is seriously bothering him and he doesn't want to dwell.]

Do you have any suggestions?

[A kid like him, already being used to wielding a weapon? The universe really can be cruel. It's bad enough that teenagers like him and the other Garrison cadets got thrown into a war, but this guy looks even younger than him.]
