Let's Not Mention the Flaming Blanket Incident
Who: Katie and You (Yes You)
Broadcast: Fleetwide!
Action: Iskaulit
When: Eh, now
[She actually got her memory back a bit over a week ago, but between the instability of her magic on re-awakening and the messing around with souls that followed, it's just been safer to keep a low profile. For everyone else, that is. There's nightmares in that thar mist for the accidentally enchanted. (And also, a question answered: if she dies here, she stays here in her entirety. Her fae soul is trapped, too. Which... is vaguely irritating, but to be honest she's a little relieved about it.)
So she's kept herself busy locked away in one of the Iskaulit's rooms and a selection of paints, following through on the idle joke she had with Crowley months ago. Painting is good therapy!
...so's vandalism.]
[It's first person handy cam! Heading down a corridor towards a door.]
It's come to my attention that I somehow missed talking to our lovely hosts a few weeks ago! That's a shame. I wouldn't have minded snogging one or the other. I've decided to take out my remorse about it on a few walls. I do hope nobody was using this room for anything else beforehand--
Ah. Here you go.
[The door is flung wide to show a freshly-painted, extremely flattering painting of Carmen and Chase, taking up one wall of this room and painted in an assortment of complementary pastels.]
Do you like it? It's not quite finished yet. [She puts the comm down facing the wall and leans into view for a moment, hair swinging, to wave gaily at the camera.] Just hold on a moment...
[Aaand she's gone.
And then there's the godawful scrape of a large metal container being dragged across the floor until she manages to get it into view of the camera: an industrial size bin full to overflowing with rotting fruit and other assorted trash she's scavenged from all over the place.]
That's better.
Would anyone like to practice their aim?
[I am a responsible Captain.]

That's amazing, Katie.

I aim to please, always.

[Keith chuckled.]
I might stop by and check on some of the creative progress later.

[He actually sounds impressed. Way to go. ]

[Uh huh.]

Still, I like it. Really says a lot.

[She grins.] Care to try your hand?

Huh. Okay, you know, I'm always up for practicing my aim! But do you have like a glove I could wear or something, 'cause I think that's rotten fruit you have there and I am nooooot touching that with my bare hands.

[Behold, she holds up a box of disposable gloves.]
It's amazing what you find in a place choked with poisonous mist. [As in, not very amazing at all.]

( Anyone with enough balls to take it out on the people holding them here is good in Jean's book, whether or not it's prudent to trust quickly. She appreciates the moxie. )

Re: video
( Jean laughs a bit and motions toward the...demonstration Katie has just done. )
If that's dangerous, I'm dangerous too.
video
I'm sure I'm dangerous to the right sort of people. The name Manji doesn't really ring a bell, though, I must say. Perhaps I accidentally trod on his foot.

Should I ask where you dragged all that garbage from?
video;
[She grins sunnily.]
But restaurant refuse is quite a common phenomenon, I'm told.
video;
[She assumes, anyway. If it's gone, it's not their problem anymore.]
Though I'm afraid you'll have to fill me in on the context here.

You're not familiar with the painting's subjects?

Does that help? Not my smiling, but the trash bin.
