[She actually got her memory back a bit over a week ago, but between the instability of her magic on re-awakening and the messing around with souls that followed, it's just been safer to keep a low profile. For everyone else, that is. There's nightmares in that thar mist for the accidentally enchanted. (And also, a question answered: if she dies here, she stays here in her entirety. Her fae soul is trapped, too. Which... is vaguely irritating, but to be honest she's a little relieved about it.)

So she's kept herself busy locked away in one of the Iskaulit's rooms and a selection of paints, following through on the idle joke she had with Crowley months ago. Painting is good therapy!

[It's first person handy cam! Heading down a corridor towards a door.]

It's come to my attention that I somehow missed talking to our lovely hosts a few weeks ago! That's a shame. I wouldn't have minded snogging one or the other. I've decided to take out my remorse about it on a few walls. I do hope nobody was using this room for anything else beforehand--

Ah. Here you go.

[The door is flung wide to show a freshly-painted, extremely flattering painting of Carmen and Chase, taking up one wall of this room and painted in an assortment of complementary pastels.]

Do you like it? It's not quite finished yet. [She puts the comm down facing the wall and leans into view for a moment, hair swinging, to wave gaily at the camera.] Just hold on a moment...

[Aaand she's gone.

And then there's the godawful scrape of a large metal container being dragged across the floor until she manages to get it into view of the camera: an industrial size bin full to overflowing with rotting fruit and other assorted trash she's scavenged from all over the place.]

Well, I suppose it depends on how important time really is to an individual. Some people are fond of saying it's an illusion to begin with.

[An interesting turn to take the conversation, but not one Leia doesn't mind rolling with here.]

I'd wager many of those people haven't been taken against their will and left on a spaceship.

An excellent point, that. Time does seem to do odd things when you don't have a sun to measure it with, though.

[Leia nods, frowning just slightly, because she knows exactly how that feels. And it's not a feeling she's fond of.]

It's why I prefer to not be solely on a ship for a long period of time.

[Katie concurs. She vastly prefers it when the ship is docked somewhere. She glances at Leia curiously.]

What's the longest time you've been stuck on a ship for?

Aside from this stay, over a standard month on a ship with no hyperdrive. I wouldn't recommend it.

[WELL it wasn't all bad, but it was certainly frustrating, to put it lightly.]

How on earth did you not go mad in the meantime? I hope you had plenty of good company.

I had company, certainly, but I don't know if it was all always good.

[It got better the further into the trip, but the beginning was very naturally rocky.]

Partly good is better than all bad, I'd say. Though I suppose if you heavily disliked your company at least you'd have someone to vent at.

Oh that still happened frequently, don't misunderstand. Even people who are fond of each other wind up arguing if they're stuck in a small space for an extended period of time.

I've never had that happen to me. But I suppose I also haven't been trapped in a small space with the same people for company, either. Were you closer for it at the end?

[Leia smiles just slightly, keeping her answer vague but the small smile may give away what she's being purposely evasive about. Or rather what she's purposely understating.]

I think so. We certainly understood each other better than before after that.
