You Know What I Wanted To Put Here
Who: Nami and you
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Planetside
When: Post shuffle
Points:
1) I need a new full time bartender for the Space Bar.
2) The blood drive is run every two months and needs someone to oversee it, preferably with medical experience.
3) The GPS program that was created for use on the communicators now no longer has anyone left to implement it for new or interested passengers. I have some of the notes on it but I don't know technology.
If you can help with any of these leave a message.
[And then a few minutes later:]
Can someone please cover my shifts, I'm taking a week off
[Fuck this place.]
---------
[Nami is only briefly on the Bloodsport this morning, on a direct course between her own room and Sam's, hauling most of his leftover belongings into Captain's quarters. Then she's in the cargo bay, hugging Biri. No, stupid bird, you can't come with her. This mist is not for you.

Then she's checking into a hotel planetside and doing her level best to get drunk, before giving thought to some reckless treasure hunting, because why not?
There is no announcement that Sam is no longer here. She figures it's probably obvious.]

[there's still kids in the fleet right]
no subject
I'm not sure I really want to check.
no subject
[Okay, well, you know what-]
Here, toss it over. This is gonna keep me up at night if I don't check.
no subject
...turns out it's a book about lesbians owning horses, so hey. Not too graphic.]
no subject
It's... weirdly normal, actually. I'm almost disappointed.
[He adds it to the pile. It's fine, turns out! Kid-friendly.]
no subject
Safe for kids everywhere, then? I guess it'll at least get a double take at the library.
no subject
[He is not what anyone would call a speed reader. It could be absolutely filthy somewhere in the middle.]
But it didn't seem like it was, uh, horsey smut.
no subject
[Dry.
...then pause.]
I might... take off for a couple days. See the sights, kinda thing. Will you be okay?
no subject
[He knows how that goes.]
I think we can hold the fort while you're gone.
no subject
I won't be gone long, anyway. Just need to sulk a bit.
no subject
[He'll even feed your squawker if she leaves it here.]
no subject
Well, wallowing never helped anyone. [She's not much of one. Currently her plan is to find a hotel where nobody knows her, get plastered, sleep it off, come home and get on with life. Seems legit.] Besides, leaving this place is a good thing.
no subject
[He's done his share, a few times in his life. Sometimes you just have to be miserable for a while.]
Anyway, just let me know if you need a pick-up or something. We're here for ya.
no subject
You got it. [She gathers the stack of books she does want to keep, tucking them under one arm.] The offer's appreciated either way, 'kay?
no subject
[He may be used to going solo on missions more often than not, but he knows damn well how to help his friends.]
