Who: The Vision
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: The Caprine
When: At the Shuffle, evening of the 20th
[He doesn't appear immediately on the Caprine, of course. First he's rudely deposited onto the hospitality deck of the Marsiva, but although he grasps the reality of the situation quickly enough it takes some time to process it all - the uncovered memories of his time here, the juxtaposition of his new situation with the events at home, and then a crushing disappointment as he scans over his newly-acquired communicator and realizes he can't put in a transfer to the Windrose, because his ship doesn't seem to exist anymore.
So that's how it's going to be.
He figures it won't be long before he's assigned to a new ship, and sure enough he's popped over to the Caprine in all his maroon-skinned android glory. He shakes the confetti off and pulls up a video broadcast.]
Good evening, members of the Fleet. I am the Vision, recently of twenty-first century Earth and one of the Avengers, if that means anything to anyone. [Yes, he's still technically an Avenger, even if he's been a bit AWOL lately.] If there's anyone here who knows me, I'd like very much to know that you're here, and please don't hesitate to ask me if you'd like anything from me. I seem to be on the Caprine this time around.
[And then he looks a little wistful.
Does anyone know how long it's been since I was here last? It's been two years for me subjectively, but I'm aware that often has little to do with time passing in the Fleet. I was on the Windrose. [Captain of it, in fact.]
Thank you.

Asgard is gone. And it belongs to its people. The Avengers only belong to the mistakes they make. Is that not what the name implies? To avenge?
no subject
Do you know, SHIELD came up with that name several years before I was even created?
[He shakes his head to clear it. Irrelevant.]
I won't deny we've made our share of mistakes, but to imply that is all we do is a gross misconception. Even the humans have their traditions of heroes, Loki.

[ Like Revengers. Even Loki doesn't like it. For a moment, he considers his cards. ]
My concern is not what humans do or believe. My concern lies solely with Asgard.
And I'll not have the Avengers turn that into another mistake

[Revengers is...not better. For a while there, he'd identified himself as captain of the Windrose first and an Avenger second, but his ship is gone--changed, at least.]
I've neither the desire nor the ability to interfere with Asgard or its people, save if and when they come to me. You have my word on that, whether or not it means anything to you.

You actually think with the Mind Stone in your head that people around you are safe?
no subject
Again.]
I believe they are safer with it in my possession than anywhere else.
I wouldn't call anywhere in the Marsiva's shadow safe..
no subject
[ The Fleet keeps it secure due to its strange reality, but Loki knows that will change. ]
Just keep away from Thor with that. I don't care how many humans you kill with your ignorance.

And it isn't the only one on Earth--at least, when it is Earth. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a highly elaborate fake constructed by our hosts. I'm afraid my augment interferes with my ability to tell.
[Not saying anything about staying away from Thor, because Thor do as Thor do.]
no subject
Welp, nice knowing Earth. Time to consider another planet. It is possible the one here is a fake. The Marsiva wouldn't allow an Infinity Gem. It's why Loki is still missing the Tessaract. Ugh, he'll have to move up his timeline. ]
I'm always astounded by how limited the intelligence of your group is.
You are alive and by that nature, the Mind Stone is alive. What lives can be found.

[Just imagine, for a brief time there were three! Three Infinity Stones in one place, what a scary idea. Hope that never happens again.]
And what is dormant simply takes longer to find. I won't say the idea doesn't concern me, but I don't feel I have much of an alternative at this point.

Thankfully, I have plenty. I don't think Thor and myself will be returning to Earth.
no subject
[As for Loki--]
Your fanbase doesn't extend to most of Earth, fortunately for you.
no subject
I wouldn't trust a bomb to hold onto anything.
no subject
[But Loki already knew that, didn't he?]
no subject
For what good it does anyone.
no subject
Which ship are you the Captain of, then, so that I may avoid it when possible?
no subject
I will inform Thor of your . . . problem as soon as possible.
no subject
Noted. Thank you.
