[Wanda grins and nods. She wouldn't have minded a hug from Kitty - being surrounded by strangers is more draining than people she knows, even if she hasn't known Kitty for very long this time.

This time. What a bizarre concept.]

That was...faster than I thought. I thought they would put us on a shuttle, not teleport us around again.

Did we forget to warn you about that? Yeah, they're big fans of just tossing people around. On the plus side, you get more pudding that way? [Confetti too though.]

What do you think of the ship so far?

I think I will be finding confetti in my hair for a week. But at least there was chocolate.

[Wanda smiles.]

It's...nice. The cargo bay is amazing.

So many things can be forgiven when chocolate is on the line. Maybe I should transfer just to get another one. Two when I transfer back. Except then Vash would be the only captain and no one needs that.

[She smiles.] Vision and Anders did a lot of work on it. [And then Kitty and the others did their best to maintain them with they both left.] It's nice Vision gets to enjoy it. If you mean the garden. If you're more into the exercise equipment that was just an upgrade we got once. [or the extra bed or the pinball machine or the shuttles. Their cargo bay is pretty hopping.]

And then you would have to unpack all of your things twice. There have to be better ways to get chocolate.

[A small smile.] I wonder if there is a chocolate version of the bacon-flavored plant...I've never seen anything like that before.

[She smiles.] I think I asked Vision that exact thing once. Maybe it was ice cream. I know I definitely asked him for a pizza plant.

Pizza isn't so hard if you have the ingredients. Even in ovens like these.

That's the tricky part. It seems like anytime we have an abundance of cheese they are flourless or vice versa. Some things you can make if you're creative and spend some time with the alien raw ingredients, but I was more of a pick up a bag of shredded cheese at the corner store girl and less... [blanking] doing whatever the process is to make cheese which I think involves cows kind of girl.

There have to be real ingredients somewhere on that planet, something we could use.

[She is not above making a hello pizza.]

Not as nice as being able to order it from your computer but we can enjoy it while we're here.

There could be. As much as I'm talking about it now I didn't really shop with an eye toward that. [She's more likely to make nice things for other people than herself. Then again who doesn't like pizza?]

You could order it from your computer back home? We still had to call. [Not that technology didn't exist so much as it hadn't been disseminated that ubiquitously.] Or fax. [She makes a little face.] Well, before anyway.

You still used faxes? What year was it? [She laughs.] We can call if we want to, but it's much easier to use a computer.

Hey, I was a kid and I wasn't using them myself except to occasionally take apart to see how they worked. I'm always pro computer for all things. Well, most things. I am pro Fax never. [Oops did someone forget to mention the ever confusing year of comics? Tragic.]

Sometimes it's nice to hold a real book instead of staring at a screen. But I think we won't find many of those here.

I'm with you on books. We do find them on some of the worlds in paper form. When I buy books I usually donate them to the Iskaulit library after I read them. Have you been in there yet?

I didn't know we had a library. I'll ask Vision to show me when we go to the Iskaulit.

[It's good to have something to do while they're between planets.]

[She could offer too, but she wouldn't dream of stepping in Vision's way. She heard things were complicated. Of course they are. It's the nature of this place.]

There's a lot over on the Iskaulit. I usually train over there although we have some equipment in the cargo bay. And I work at Malum.
