[Kitty has spent most of their time in the creepy mist sector on the ship with the exception of a few shopping excursions and one very notable deep dive into the mist to retrieve Vash. It seems the Atroma or spirit of the mist or whatever decided to reward her with something from home. They had to go back fairly deep to find it. She wasn't wearing it when she had to flee her home all those years ago, but now she has a simple chain with a Star of David on it resting in her palm as she relaxes thoughtfully on one of the armchairs. Should she add it to the overloaded necklace she already wears all the time with two lockets—one from Winn and one from the previous Wanda containing pictures of Kurt, Winn, and her parents—and more recently a silver band with three blue stones on it. She'd moved the engagement ring Winn never had a chance to give her from her finger to the chain a few weeks ago following a night not spent in her bedroom.

So, you walk in and find her in thoughtful contemplation, but don't worry, she'd rather have company.]

[Kitchen]
[She is putting away food she got on the planet. There's a lot of fish since that's a thing on the planet, but also as many fruits, vegetables, and desserts as she could manage. As most of the alien food they encounter seems to do, a lot of it echos foods of Earth, but not everything is so recognizable. There is some pink, hairy thing on the counter.]

[Find her anywhere on the ship or even on the Iskaulit. She can even be on one of the floating islands haggling over some food to take back to the ship. Use this to call her instead of her inbox if you want. THE POWER IS YOURS!]

i. settling in
[Wanda has few personal belongings to unpack before she takes off to explore the ship. She still finds life in space uncomfortable, but the Twin Roses feels a little less sterile. Maybe it's the many windows (which she does pause beside to just stop and stare at the stars). Maybe it's all the greenery in the cargo bay. Or maybe it's just knowing that she definitely has friends here and other people like here.

She can be found all over the ship investigating and trying to get her bearings.]

ii. reunion [closed to Vision]
[When she had last left him, it hadn't been any big deal for him to carry her when the team jumped out of the Quinjet (safer that way, Vision could keep them afloat and she could shield them if needed). And she knows he knows what a hug is, and it's been two weeks without being in the same room as someone from home, so maybe she can be forgiven for rushing forward and wrapping her arms around him the moment she sees him.

Two weeks is a long time for a telepath to be surrounded by strangers. It's surprisingly draining.]

I missed you.

Wanda! [Kitty says her friend's name warmly even if they're still building the friendship she remembers. She doesn't let herself get too caught up in that or she tries not to at least. There are too many enemies in the world not to embrace friends when you can. She does stop short of a physical embrace though. She doesn't want to overwhelm her. It's probably hard enough having so many more minds on this ship compared to the Tourist. She just joins her in front of the bank of windows she was looking out.] It's official, right? You transferred over? [Not that she wouldn't have been happy with just a visit too.]

[ Sara's been spending time getting some different clothes planetside, hanging out in a bar, or working out in the gym on the Iskaulit. Despite her initial air of ease and congeniality, she's been keeping to herself more and more. It's clear that this is a shitty situation that she's stuck in, and that doesn't really inspire optimism.

For the time being, she can be found in the kitchen grabbing a cup of coffee and some protein gels, in the corridors heading back to her room, or in the lounge meditating... or trying to. ]

[ Sara walks in to grab some coffee and sees the pink thing ]

What is that, a new pet?

[ Sara approaches Wanda while she's gazing out a window, standing beside her with a drink in her hand ]

It's kind of beautiful, if you don't think about it too hard.

Hmm? [It takes a second to figure out what would be a pet, but yeah. It is kind of like a colorful tribble.] Oh. No. I think it's supposed to be some kind of fruit. The vendor said they were sweet.

Oh. And you believe him? Adventurous.

[She smiles and shrugs.] I'll make Vash eat one first. See how he does with it.

[So many small changes, so much that's stayed the same. It's not his Windrose, but it's close enough that it's no stretch to start thinking of the Twin Roses as a new home. The Vision spends much of his first few days wandering around the ship, pausing to contemplate something here and there - a new set of windows in the hallway, a little bit of graffiti from a previous resident in the bathrooms, his old familiar nook in the Engineering section that he now gets to share with someone else. He spends a lot of it in the cargo bay with the plants, much like he always had before - floating up to the ones on higher shelves, checking them each individually for health and harvesting leaves or seeds or roots when appropriate.

And he spends time at the kelp tank, coaxing out the little glow fish that live there and transferring them one by one into portable little sphere-tanks with wicker hangars, leaving them for a few hours, and then transferring them back. On the planet they'd come from, the little fish were used as light sources, and he wanted to make sure they still felt comfortable with the old job. Power outages did occur, and not everyone could see in the dark. Plus, they're kind of adorable.

Most importantly, he'll use his time to seek out the other crew members and introduce himself. He largely sticks to wearing his Avengers outfit on the ship; no real need to camouflage his clothing out here. So hi, there's a tall maroon person with lots of interesting costumey bits and no hair wadering around your ship, occasionally floating and phasing through objects.]

[A little disoriented from the automatic transfer? Sure. But not so much that he doesn't instinctually hug Wanda back and tuck his chin over her head. He has definitely learned how to hug at some point, and for the first time in a while he feels fully at ease.]

I'm sorry it took me this long to meet up with you, Wanda.

[Not wanting to make things awkward, he releases his grip on her and instead looks down at her, smiling and perhaps still holding her hands.]

Welcome to the Twin Roses. Would you like the tour?

[This is one of the areas that's new to him, and the Vision pokes his head in curiously.]

Er, excuse me. Are you one of the crew? I'm afraid I'm new here.

Now that's smart thinking.

It's cool you got all this though. You're definitely not going to get scurvy.

Hey, handsome. You are much taller in person.

[ she gets up and outstretches her hand ]

Glad to not be the newest crew member.

[He looks very briefly confused - he's the same height all the time, isn't he? - but then remembers it's a figure of speech and relaxes. He shakes her hand in response, and he feels warm and human enough.]

There were two of us to be Shuffled in, actually - myself and one Wanda Maximoff. I suppose you needed a resident android?

[He steps into the lounge, looking around a bit more fully.]

This is a new room. Is that a refreshments cart? [ooo, now he can invite people over for tea and not hang out in the crowded kitchen the whole time!]

[ she goes and sits in one of the chairs ]

I'm pretty sure it's been here since I got here... But yeah, it is. Do you drink refreshments?

I--can. It's not necessary, but pouring myself a cup of tea tends to relax other people, for some reason.

[Which he does, and takes one of the other chairs.]

I should mention I've been banned from competitive board games at home, but if there's a chance game in here, or something cooperative, I'd be glad to play with you?

I'm not much of a game player, but thanks for the offer.

What'd you do to get banned?

[ She will also get some tea. ]

After a certain amount of time, I simply kept winning.

[And when his main opponents were the same two people over and over, learning their strategies wasn't exactly difficult.]

What is your role on the ship, if I might ask?

Oh, right. That whole android thing. That sounds incredibly annoying.

Allegedly I'm a pilot. Vash is, too.

[Vash has been spending the last couple days sleeping, but once he's feeling a bit better he's up and about the ship again. Only he's dressed a bit differently as his iconic red jacket is missing. Instead he's wearing a big, baggy red sweater, a pair of jeans, and his normal leather gloves and thick boots. So he's still completely covered from his neck down to his toes.

He also still wears his hair in it's normal spiky fashion and his smile is always on his face.

The first thing after getting out of bed he does is to give his large silver pistol a good cleaning. After that Vash will typically be around the lounge practicing his harmonica this month. Or find him in the pilot seat updating the map and planet guide book he's been keeping to document the fleet's travels. Or when he's really bored he'll be shuffling a deck of cards.]

[At one point when Kitty comes into Vash's room to check on him she may find that he's not asleep. Sitting up and looking tired as hell with his hair a floppy mess around his face. Right before she entered he was looking down at his right arm. Making a fist and then releasing it again with his face lost in thought with a slight frown. Once he hears her enter he stops and his usual smile falls right back into place.

His voice is light and happy as if nothing happened recently.] Oh, hello. Hope I didn't worry you.

[Vash makes it a point to meet his new crew. Even if he looks incredibly casual dressed in a large red sweat and jeans. Completing the look with black leather gloves and boots.

He smiles brightly when he catches Wanda looking out one of the windows.] They're beautiful, aren't they?
