I'm pretty sure it's been here since I got here... But yeah, it is. Do you drink refreshments?

I--can. It's not necessary, but pouring myself a cup of tea tends to relax other people, for some reason.

I should mention I've been banned from competitive board games at home, but if there's a chance game in here, or something cooperative, I'd be glad to play with you?

Ah, that could be useful, in fact. I'd been thinking of briefly visiting the planet - some of the islands, to see if there are any plants we might add to the gardens. Do you think you might fly me down there? I've been told the mists are dangerous, and it's been some time since I flew one of the shuttles in atmosphere.

Do they take our currency or should we bring some kind of trade supply, if we intend to acquire a few plants? I believe all I need is something to carry any acquisitions in.

They certainly took my currency, so you should be fine.

What kinds of plants are you looking for?

Edible plants that adapt well to hydroponics or plants with medicinal value.

Oh well, it'll have to do and they can leave it in the shuttle until they actually find something to take back. Once he's done he takes one of the passenger seats and fastens his safety restraints.]

Yeah, well, I don't mind squeezing you in between "staring into space" and "drinking to forget".

[ her tone is teasing, if he can pick up on that sort of thing, but the undercurrent is "this place is boring" ]

Has someone got around to brewing beer, then? Or are we more or less stuck with what the planets have to provide still?

I don't know about beer but there are several bars on the Iskaulit. The people here have their priorities in place.

Academic curiosity only, I'm afraid. I don't drink. That is, I don't require any fluid intake at all, and I can drink, but it doesn't have much of an effect.

[The planet is starting to come up closer, and he peers down at it curiously.]

I rather hope not. It would be decidedly unsafe for everyone around me.
