If you compared it to Ragna, I'd be concerned for your well being.

[Her eyes go between the singer and the mercat, noting how settled each of them seem.]

You know you're always welcome to transfer to the Bloodsport if you feel the desire.

Well, it can't be quite like Ragna. Can it?

[It's not like there is some broken Protoculture ruins hanging around or any of the others. Or Xaos and Lady M. It's just... a ship with some interesting people on board.]

I know, but I think everyone here has finally gotten used to the fact that I sing all of the time.

[But she's not sure Vash will ever recover from her walking into his room unannounced while initially exploring.]

There's a vast difference in my opinion.

[Kaname laughs at that. Come on now.]

And you think mine hasn't? I've been there for about ten months now, and we had Freyja for a few of those.

[ikenai]

I suppose that might be true, but I think you'll know more about both of them than I do.

[Since, let's be honest, with as much freedom as Mikumo seemed to have back on Ragna, Kaname has always had more. And she's definitely been here longer than the younger vocalist.]

That's true, but do you really want to subject them to me full time?

Some planets have reminded me of Ragna, but that's about it.

[Shaking her head, she chuckles.]

As I said, it's available if you'd like. That's all.

[ikenai]

I still feel like I know nothing about it.

[She didn't really do much adventuring on her own, despite what others thought. She stayed close to her apartment and the Elysion if they weren't performing. Maybe, when they get back, she can change that.]

I'll keep that in mind. [She lapses into silence, letting the sound of the mercat's purring fill the air between them.] Do you know many of the people on this ship?

Well, when we get back, I'll have to show you around more. If I'm right, we'll have some well earned time off coming our way.

[Since saving the galaxy or whatever.

Mikumo's question catches her attention, and she smiles.] I'm acquainted with one of your captains, Kitty, but beyond that, I'm not familiar with anyone here.

[ikenai]

I'd like to think we have, but you can never tell with our bosses.

[She'd like a little more freedom anyway. If nothing else, Freyja deserved time with Hayate and Kaname time to herself. Mikumo just wants to be able to walk around without being tracked all the time. And maybe to try all of the snacks the other girls eat for a change.]

Kitty is... interesting. And Vash, the other captain, is rather sweet and naive, I think. But there's a woman. I think she might be from old Japan on Earth. She plays a shamisen.

I think they'd understand this time.

[Whether she's sure of it or not is hard to tell. Still, why worry Mikumo over that now? Kaname moves to discuss Fleet matters instead.]

Oh? What do you think of it?

I suppose that we could all just run away if they refused.

[And without Walküre, what would Xaos do against the Var?]
