[A - Broadcast]

[Lance is all smiles at the camera once he opens the feed. There's something a little...different about his appearance. Namely, that he's wearing a brown cat ear headband along with a matching tail. And looks thoroughly unashamed.]

So, I know time's all messed up due to all the coming and going and differences from back home, but going by last year's... Well, I just turned 19 today. I got another sponsor gift box, and it's actually some pretty sweet stuff! You've probably already noticed the ears and the tail, which I have no idea why but I think it suits me well. Plus, I got these shindigs.

[He tilts the camera to show a sweet pair of shark plush flip flops on his feet. Next, he holds up a large blue water gun he definitely intends on surprise attacking people with.]

I'm definitely not complaining. Thanks, mysterious fans out there! I'll be putting all of this to good use. And speaking of putting things to good use... I think my favorite present might be the last one. I got a CD, and, well.

[He smirks, pressing a button as music starts blaring. Those from Earth will recognize that the song is in a foreign language, specifically Spanish. Lance just grins even wider before singing along, eventually cutting the feed halfway through.]




[B - Planetside - Action]

[Last year, he'd mostly put together his own birthday celebration with the help of the others. This time, he hadn't even mentioned the day coming up to anyone. After the mist, he hadn't been in a very self-celebratory mood. Which is why he's absolutely shocked when he's brought down planetside to what looks to be a decently fancy spa meant for groups. Being able to do this, especially surrounded by friends (family, rather, because that's what he thinks of them as), is more than a pleasant surprise.

There are plenty of things to do there. Massages, facials, jacuzzis, hot springs, a pool, and more. For the most part he lets everyone do what they want, though he does drag various people along with him to certain things. For example, no one's leaving the building without experiencing the benefits of a good face mask. Frolic around, take part in things, and enjoy your fuzzy white robes and slippers!]




[C - Broadcast + Action]

[Have another happy looking Lance. He's noticeably been improving since his mist illnesses, thanks to the support of his friends. And a few new things.]

So I heard some people have found things of theirs from back home in the mist. I went in there a few times, but I was pretty resigned that I just wasn't going to find something of mine. But then I heard a sound from behind a rock, and what do you now, I came across one of my best friends! Say hi to everyone, Kaltenecker!

[He angles the camera to show a calf-sized but adult aged beautiful cow. She moos in response, and Lance clasps his hands together.]

I don't know why she's so tiny, but it's her! She still has her bow and everything! She's gonna stay here on the Huntress where we're growing plants and veggies and stuff. So yay, fresh milk! I make a mean milkshake, so feel free to come by sometime soon for one of those.

[He kneels down, wrapping his arms around Kaltenecker and just snuggling her happily.]

[ooc: All of Lance's positive CR would have been invited to the spa day, so if Lance is friends or even good acquaintances with your character, feel free to assume they can come along. Also, sorry for the memelord.]

Hmmmm... Maybe half of them? They have something like a hot stone massage that I wouldn't mind giving a try. I've never had one of those before.

[And boy, does he plan on running the whole gauntlet here.]

That sounds intriguing. What else do they have to offer? I'm afraid I haven't had the chance to look just yet.

Well, they have about like a dozen types of massages. Facials. Body masks, scrubs, all that. Manicures, pedicures. Hair styling, but I'll eat my helmet if any of them are better than you.

[He has a very high opinion of Biffy's skills.]

[He laughs at the last part.]

I honestly wouldn't let anyone but myself style my hair anyway. And I certainly will never require a trim.

[Honestly he doesn't require any of the treatments. Mostly he just loves to indulge.]

So what would you recommend I try next?

Hmmm... Maybe a massage? Have you ever gotten one before?

[dandyofawolf]

I have. However, the last time was when I was still human.

[And by some...rather cool hands. But he doesn't mention that part as he just smiles. Lance isn't here to here about his past loves.]

A massage would be lovely.

[the_tailor]

Sweet. That'll be next on our list, then.

[He sinks a little more into the hot water, sighing contentedly. Man, he'd kill for a hot tub aboard the Huntress.]

Wonderful. I can say I'm already looking forward to it.

[Lifting his hands up, he runs them through his hair. The moisture is bringing out more of his curl right now but there's something about that unruliness that looks very attractive on Biffy.

Just don't tell him. He hates when his hair is like this.]

[the_tailor]

[There's definitely a certain kind of amusement in seeing Biffy's hair this...well, he wouldn't exactly go as far as to say unruly, but certainly not tamed. But it really is a good look on him.

Lance knows better than to comment on that, though.]

Sometimes it just feels so...weird to just be able to relax like this.

[dandyofawolf]

[And this is why you're definitely his best friend, Lance.][He's honestly missed it. Being able to just enjoy luxury like this.]

It's been over twenty years since I last was able to just enjoy a soak in hot water like this.

[He takes baths where he's from but it just isn't the same to get in to bath compared to getting in to just enjoy the hot water.]

Woooooow. You gotta treat yourself some more, man. This has got to be one of my favorite things. Honestly, anything dealing with water is.

[He smiles and sinks in just a bit further, though his head is still above the water's surface.]

Things were a little complicated so I wasn't able to. I'm trying my best to do so here now that I can.

[He rests his head back and closes his eyes.]

It's certainly nicer with company though. Perhaps I should say I'm selfishly glad you decided to do this for your birthday.

Everyone needs to be selfish sometimes! You're welcome, though. I thought this could be perfect, if I was able to choose something for myself. I'm really glad if other people like it too. I didn't want to force anyone, you know? Even if some people are a bit grumpy about certain parts of it.

He didn't enjoy the face masks, hm?

[He knows who you're talking about.]

Nope. I mean, he let me put one on him, but he was definitely not happy about it.

[He snorts.]

I've pleaded with him sooooo many times for him to join me at night with those, but I guess it just took it being my birthday for him to finally relent.

It's proof that he does love you that he would let you use the excuse of your birthday to allow it though. Not all men would do that. My former Alpha certainly wouldn't have for his wife.

Yeah...

[He smiles, sinking a little further into the hot water.]

It definitely makes me feel comforted.

As well it should.

[He laughs softly.]

Are they others enjoying things?

I think! Some of them are still pouting about the face masks too, but they'll thank me afterwards when they see and feel how good their skin is.

I really don't see why they should pout over the masks. They're wonderful really. Honestly even though I no longer need them I still love to spoil myself with them simply because they feel so good.

I know Keith at least finds them pointless and thinks they'd make him look stupid. Sooooo stubborn.

[He waves his hand.]

In other words, you and I should treat ourselves to our own spa days together so we can make sure we always have someone to enjoy these things.

Perfect. [Grin.] I have a bunch of stuff I've collected from different planets as it is here, so we've got lots to use.

My collection isn't as impressive as your own, I'm sure, given how you've been here longer. Still, we could dip into it as well. I rather suggest we setup a regularly scheduled get together. Tea and treatments.

[He grins, raising his fist for a fist bump, momentarily forgetting Biffy probably has no idea what one is.]
