[The Lance on screen right now isn't exactly the same cheerful Lance most people are used to. He looks exhausted both physically and mentally, dark circles under his eyes, and it's clear that he hasn't bothered to take care of his appearance yet like he usually fastidiously does. Clearly, his little "vacation" hasn't made him be restful at all.]

Uh... Hey, I'm back. Looks like a few of us went all disappearing act again. But we're here now.

[He's quiet for a while, at an unusual loss for words.]

Looks like Earth's gonna have to wait a little while longer. I mean, I'm not too mad about it. This place... I like it here.

[Another pause, and he scrubs at his face.]

Um, yeah, that's about it, I guess? Thanks to everyone who took care of the pets. I know it's like a zoo here. Anyway. This is Lance, signing out.



[B - Action]

[Lance can be found both aboard the Huntress and Iskaulit, re-familiarizing himself with the ships. There's less of a pep in his step than before. Still, he goes to visit the animals, the pool, the bar, and various other places. Sometimes, he just walks. Feel free to bump into him anywhere.]

[After seeing his broadcast, Kaname's on her way to the Iskaulit to look for him. Of course, she finds him at the bar, sitting alone in a booth. Wow, how sad. She grabs some snacks and drinks from the back (she'll pay Nami later) and goes over to sit across from him.]

If you're going to pull a disappearing act, give a girl some notice, won't you?

[Hey, after what he's been through lately, some solo drinking is totally allowed. Even if he's only 19 and not some middle aged divorcee or something.

Lance blinks and turns to look up at Kaname, giving her a little smile.]

Sorry, Kaname. You know how these things go. One minute you're here, then poof.

Never first hand, but I've heard stories.

[She places the items on the table and sits back, waiting for him to take first choice.]

[Biffy smells him before he sees him on the Iskaulit. And, well, stuck in wolf form or not, he's pleased to have his friend back. So he trots through the halls until he finds him.

Right away he notices something...off about Lance. Like there's something weighing on him. Which means that Lance will suddenly feel a wolf nose at his hand as he tries to do what he can to comfort him.

It's...the best he can do right now, friend. Sorry.]

[He doesn't notice the wolf before he's pressing his nose against his palm. Lance startles, but gets himself under control. Sure, maybe he should be more concerned that a wolf is just walking around, but hey. Not like he's being eaten or anything.

Strange, though, that he's never seen that anyone had a wolf as a pet here.]

Oh... Hey, buddy. What's up?

[He's beginning to think he should show his wolf form to all of his friends here at least once so that way this situation doesn't keep coming up. Though, at least with Kirk it made more sense since the man was also glitched at the time. Sighing softly, he looks to see his salon is nearby. Closed currently because he can't do anything there but it will work.

Trotting over to it, he sits by it and looks at Lance expectantly. The best way to figure out how to tell him that this is him? Try to show him.]

He finds Lance in the pool area, figuring the younger man would want to come spend time here since he seemed to love it so much. He walked up behind Lance, reaching up and ruffling his hair gently. ]</sub>

[The pool was indeed a place he found comfort in, so he finds himself there later that day, once paladin business is taken care of and he's sure that Shiro will be taken care of for now. Part of him is hesitant to really approach the others, so he heads in with Oliver, who's currently splashing around in the shallow end. Lance sits on the other side of the pool, legs dangling in the water.

He's a bit startled when there's a hand in his hair, and looks up.]

Jim? Oh, hey. Nah, I've got Oliver here...

_{[ Kirk shifted himself and sat down beside Lance, though he crossed his legs rather than putting them in the water. His shoes aren't meant for that. He watched Lance for a moment before he nudged him gently. ]}

[They didn't return at exactly the same time this time, and Keith found himself at some point wandering around trying to find Lance. He did find him eventually in the pool. By now, Keith had also changed out of his armor, but his t-shirt was kind of tight in the shoulders.]

Hey... I was wondering where you'd gone off to.

[He's sitting at said pool, in his swimsuit, legs dangling in the pool. When he hears the familiar voice, he looks up and smiles, though it's a little forced and very tired.]

I knew you'd also be back soon. ...missed you, love.

[tempredmental]

[Keith managed a weak smile in return. He walked over and sat next to Lance. He wasn't exactly dressed for the pool, so he didn't drop his legs in, but he leaned against Lance's shoulder.]

I wish we could have gotten a real reunion.

[It's not that Rose considers Lance a friend by any means, but he's certainly an enjoyable target. And tormenting him isn't any fun at all if he's moping like that.]

[Thankfully, he's not hard to track down on the Iskaulit. Not that she was trying, or anything.]

[Yeeeeeah, he's not exactly. In the mood for too much teasing right now, even if he's usually always in the mood for a joke. Heck, he's usually the ones making them in the worst situations.

[Rose might be completely devoid of tact, but she is at least aware enough to tell when somebody is going through a hard time. Before, there were likely times she would have pushed on anyway, but she hasn't had the best time back home herself.]

[His smile is tired, and there's none of that usual actual flirtatious banter despite his words, but.]

[Pidge is generally not great at people, but she's observant. She knows her team. She in fact keeps a live mental database on everyone's strengths and weaknesses in the off-chance that the information becomes necessary.

Something that... unfortunately did end up happening.

But that information is what alerts her to the fact that something here is Wrong. She doesn't know what, and she certainly doesn't know how to go about breaching the topic without it seeming awkward at best. Still, she can try talking to him.]

Yeah, the Fleet's not too bad, I guess. [She'll start there. Maybe she'll find an opening.] It probably helps that you get all those gifts from your fans or whoever's watching.

It's definitely creepy to be watched all the time, but at the same time, getting some notice is nice.
