[Well, he does look vaguely like himself even if he's quite clearly not Galra anymore, with tanned skin and non-pointed ears. He still has the white mohawk and the markings on the side of his head appear to be... tattoos?]

Well, this is not something that I was expecting to have happen. It appears that this time, I am no longer Galra. I seem to be human.

I mean no offense to the humans here, but this is a strange experience for me. I can already tell this form is not as strong and I seem to be a little shorter? I wonder what else is different.

Action
[Ulaz can be found on the Blameless, doing his normal work in the lab and other duties he has been assigned either as part of being First Mate or taking on because of Shiro's temporary restrictions. Of course, he would also be checking on his patients or seeking out Procyon at some point to see the lovely dog.

On the Iskaulit, he was probably in the library, which wasn't exactly the most exciting. The other place he could be found was the obstacle course he used for training. After a few days of thinking this was weird, he decided to use this as a learning experience, seeing how this body differed from the one that he was used to so he was going to try and train as normal]

I guess its good I still smell the same then.

[Was that part of why Lyall had initially recoiled seeing him? He didn't look normal, but he had smelled the same?]

For the most part, it's the same. But there are subtle things that are different. My hearing is not as good; I'm not as strong or fast as I normally am; the fact that sugar actually tastes kind of good.

[He's looking at his tea as he says this last part]

[That's part of it, yes, because that was confusing.]

That must be troublesome. Although I would think enjoying sweets balances it out somehow. Do you not normally consume it?

[Is it like werewolves where you can't digest some stuff?]

They weren't a normal part of the diet that I had. Artificial sources at least. As a child, my favorite food was pesarana. It's a kind of fruit. For years, I haven't had anything similar.

It looks like we can occasionally get things from home... maybe you will get the chance to taste it again.

[One can always hope. Lyall hasn't checked if he has any fan messages and he hasn't gotten any sponsor drops so far but he has seen a few,and it looks like some of them are interesting.]

Do we have... any ideas how long these glitches will last?

[Since this is a .... public glitch, somehow, it might be different from the last time Biffy was glitched.]

It is possible. I would like to taste it again.

[Ulaz hasn't checked fan messages either. It seemed odd to him that he'd have fans, but his personal funds say otherwise]

My first glitch lasted only a few days, which Biffy was happy about. I have seen them last much longer than that. I don't know if there is a maximum time though I am curious.

I certainly hope it won't last longer.

[This might be the first time Lyall actually expresses frustration with this state of being. but really there is only so much one's brain can take in those circumstances.]

I do suppose I should count myself lucky it wasn't anything too bad this time.

[Because apparently, being thrown back to a time he was tortured counts as 'not too bad' in Lyall's world.]

[The entire duration of this, Ulaz has not heard a complaint from Lyall about his current physical state. He had treated it like normal, like it was supposed to happen. So he's oddly relieved to hear him express something akin to it not being normal]

We will hope that it is not much longer. It could definitely have been worse.

[The glitch could have taken away his healing abilities too, made him deal with it like he was human again]

I can safely say I would pleased to see injuries spontaneously healing.

Full moon is coming so that should speed things up even more if not everything is gone by then.

[After all, full moon is when a werewolf's powers are at their strongest, so it might clear up everything residual.]

That is good then. The full moon helps with that then?

[There's still so much to learn about werewolves]

Werewolf powers are tied to the moon and full moon makes them stronger. All of them, including the healing.

[Which is why even now, he can't fathom why Alessandro chose a full moon to go confront Lord Woolsey. Not only was he preternatural, he was a hunter. He knew better.]

I am sure everything will be gone by the end of the full moon at the latest.

Good. I'm sure you're ready for that to happen.

[And not that they had been particularly inconvenienced by the werewolves and the three required days around the full moon, but Ulaz is actually kind of looking forward to it too this time because it was, for all purposes, the best medicine Lyall can have for his injuries]

[Because really, this thing was dragging on enough. He can mostly ignore the physical pain, now, because it's just like a dull ache, but the ache is making it hard to convince is brain everything's fine now.]

Biffy said he hopes I am the one to get ears and a tail next time.

[That comment about the ears and the tail get a faint smile from Ulaz. Maybe its a little bigger than faint just because its a little harder to frown as a human?]

Does he now? Because of how different it is from this?

Because he thinks I would look cute with it.

[Is that a slight blush on Lyall's cheeks? it might be.]

I disagree, of course, but that's how he is.

[If Ulaz notices the blush, he doesn't say anything. He's heard Lance gush too many times about Keith so he doesn't seem too concerned]

I suppose that is all a matter of opinion. Perhaps after having them, it is a thought that is stuck in his head.

He was just not quite with the fact that I called him cute, I believe.

[Biffy does prefer to be thought of as dashingly handsome, and most of the time, he is. Just not with cat ears.]

Honestly, I already look small enough as a wolf that I do not need the added cuteness, I am sure.

Ah so it is in response to being called cute for his own ears. Well, it still maybe true that he would think you would be cute with them.

Personally I don't think anyone needs more added cuteness, but that is my thought.

He probably thinks so. But I get mistaken for a fox already because of my size and coloring.

[Which he is not, thank you very much. He is a wolf and proud of it.]

I do have a feeling cuteness was not necessarily something that was of the utmost importance in your life, Mr Ulaz, if you pardon me saying so.

Having not seen your wolf size in person or a fox at all, I will take your word for it though I wouldn't have known it could have been something else.

[The second comment... actually gets a chuckle from Ulaz. A real one]

No, it was not a factor in my life for most of it.

... You have never seen a fox? Is it an animal that does not exist where you are from then?

[Being human does make Ulaz more expressive... or maybe it's just easier to read his expressions on a human face.]

I did thought so. Your kind does not seem the type to care of such things, from what you have said of it.

Not as a whole. Of course not unheard of either.

Maybe I should draw you one. It is a type of canine, normally smaller than a wolf. I am not a very big wolf, but that is mostly because I am not a very big human either. These things tend to be proportional.

If you could I would understand the reference better. It is understandable your wolf form would not be bigger. Unless somehow you pulled mass out of the air, it would impossible to grow in size.

[Lyall will grab a piece of paper and sketch the animals quickly, although nothing about it is very artistic, really. A fox with a white tipped nose and a darker tip on its ears and tails, and a wolf, bigger and darker.]

Most foxes are reddish in color, which is close enough to my own coloring as to have me confused with them.

[Ulaz watches as Lyall sketches that out for him. It was good enough to get the idea of what they were and some of the key features of those two animals. Similar, but there were differences]

I see. You are a small wolf, but definitely larger than a fox?
