[This might be the only time anyone will see Pidge looking so happy. And feeling the tiniest bit social. The latter of which is really only obvious because she actually made a post to the network in order to share some of her more interesting findings with the rest of the Fleet. There are practically stars in her eyes.

This may never happen again.

Pidge is basically giggling as she positions her comm somewhere it can get a good view of her and her pile of seeming-junk, then immediately hurries back over to join her pile. From here, it's very easy to see the little green mouse droid rolling around, attempting to nudge the junk into neater piles, and what looks like a floating green caterpillar with glowing cheeks coming over to bump gently against the side of Pidge's head. She doesn't seem to mind.]

Okay! So there is a lot of really cool stuff on this planet, and I'm pretty sure I can work with it all. Check this out-

[Still beaming, she crouches down by the pile and starts picking at some of the stuff she's found. She goes through them all methodically, picking one item up and raising it for the camera to see before giving a brief explanation of what it is and what she can use it for. She does this for a while, one by one, but eventually she stops when both the mouse droid and the caterpillar start nudging into her sides.]

Fine, I'll wrap it up. Just- If anyone has a tech project in mind, just let me know. I'm basically gonna be planetside for as long as we're here, I think. There's a lot of awesome potential around here!

[Pidge looks far too pleased with that little compliment. She blames the pure joy she's experiencing at having so much to toy with.]

Wiring's necessary, don't sell it short. We'll need as much of that as we can get.

[And then she straightens slightly, looks first toward the sky and then out toward where the entrance to the junkyard is with a slight sigh.] And... I'll keep an eye out for larger pieces that haven't been picked clean.

It is. I'm pleased to have found as much as I have. And longer pieces too so that we can cut them to fit.

[Those he was very happy with. Some were long enough they could get several out of one if they needed to cut them]

I've been looking for those too. I haven't found much luck unfortunately. Smaller pieces are everywhere. I don't think they want to go through the bother of picking them up.

If we do need to buy a larger piece and it fits what we are looking for, I do have money to contribute towards purchases.

[He's apparently rather popular. Maybe the whole "purple alien" thing amused whoever their audience was even though he didn't consider himself very exciting]

[Pidge is incredibly pleased with both of their findings so far. With a little extra luck, they'll be able to put together a brand new arm for Shiro in no time at all. It would be nice if Hunk were around for the additional set of hands, but-- Well, there's no point in thinking about that.]

Ideally we won't have to make any purchases at all, but I'm glad you've got some funds on you. [Because she doesn't. Not really. Not much, anyway. That's why she's junkyard diving.] We'll get this all figured out pretty quick, I think.

It is my hope that we don't either. At least we have the option should it come to that. We should be able to get it taken care between the three of us. I know Shiro is ready to have both arms again.

[He lives with him. He knows Shiro's distressed about it]

Do you need any help getting your collection back to the ship?

[Guilt flickers across her expression when she hears that. She can only imagine how difficult it's been for him. And it makes her wish she'd been able to do something for him sooner; she'd offered to build a new arm for him when they'd returned, but her resources had been much more limited at the time. Now is better than never, but the guilt gnaws at her nonetheless.

But then it's gone with a shake of her head and a deep inhale as she turns back to her things.]

It'd be nice, eventually. But I'm still scavenging. I've really only explored half the junkyard so far, and I wouldn't wanna miss anything.

[Ulaz didn't feel good about making Shiro wait so long. He had wanted to get the arm taken care of earlier, but the lack of resources had only prolonged it. Having been helping Shiro as much as possible and the other would allow, he knew it was hard on him, but they were taking care of it now]

Of course. Do you need help with your search?

[The question gets her to smile a little, shrugging a shoulder.]

I'll be fine. I wouldn't want to pull you away from Shiro or anything.

[And the fact is, she still doesn't know Ulaz that well. She'd feel bad asking him for more help than he's already provided.

And then of course there's the part where she just hasn't wanted to ask anyone for help lately.]

[He's going to take it at face value and nods once. He's been keeping an eye on Shiro since he returned, wanting to make sure he was never without someone to provide assistance should it be required. Being on a ship that wasn't designed for things to be done one handed didn't help. So he does appreciate not being pulled away for too long without the chance to make sure someone would be on the Blameless and awake]
