Dumpster World Mingle
Who: Everyone!
Broadcast: Always possible one will sneak in
Action: TRASH PLANET! aka The Baruut System
When: October 2018
[When life gives you garbage, make projects of varying scopes and sizes! Site see in the lovely trash-covered vistas. Make a racing pod thing or go gambling. And remember the first rule of arena fighting is... not the face? Actually, I'm not sure if there are rules, but you can talk about it. It's pretty public anyway.
Enjoy your landfill of a system!]

[He dismisses his staff, arms crossing.]
You're done with the lessons, and your resonance has grown a lot since we started. I guess you could call this... your final exam.
[He gives her a pointed look, hoping she'll understand his intention. It's what they've been working towards this whole time, after all.]

Are you certain that I'm ready?

Alisha. Look at me.
[He'll wait until she does.]
You've seen it plenty of times. The armatus is a culmination of the power and relationship formed between human and seraph. It doesn't have to be complicated, but it does require confidence and trust on both sides. You can't do it if you have no faith in your abilities. Are you ready?
no subject
... You, Sorey, and Lady Edna have all been a great help in assisting me in all of this. I believe if its the both of us, we'll be able to do it.
[ They've bonded quite a bit since Alisha arrived here, to say the least. She's glad that he's the one that she'll be able to do this with. ]

Then, I'm certain. All that's left is to try. Call on my True Name, Alisha- Luzrov Rulay.
[He's sure that she'd remember it - she's heard Sorey shout it plenty of times, and was there the first time they armatized - but it's more meaningful if he gives it to her freely. He believes in her- her strength, her resonance, her connection to all of them. Sorey does too, and Edna of course, or she wouldn't have begun this whole process in the first place. The rest is up to Alisha herself.]

Luzrov Rulay!

Now, at the culmination of everything they've done since the idea first entered their minds, at last their hard work has paid off.
He feels it immediately: the pull, soft but insistent, drawing his power and essence towards Alisha. It's been a long, long time since he armatized with anyone but Sorey. Even Rose was a distant memory at this point, after years in the fleet. Alisha is new, but he doesn't resist it. He reaches for the divine weapon stored within Sorey and it comes with him, and together they fuse with Alisha's soul. His power and energy flows through her body, charged and eager. They've done it. They've done it! And it's radiant.
Quietly, within her, he chuckles, pleased and proud.]
"Congratulations on your graduation."
[And then he keeps quiet, so she can soak it in. He knows it can take some getting used to, suddenly having a passenger and seraphic power coursing through you.]

When they do armatize, Alisha can't help but think that the feeling is... indescribable. The power and energy feels nearly overwhelming, but not to the point where she loses focus in what she's doing. It... feels almost as though their thoughts are both one right now. She's never felt anything like it.
She looks at her hands for a moment, gasping quietly when she can hear Mikleo's voice. ]
We did it, Lord Mikleo! Congratulations to the both of us!
[ The power, the feeling - both mentally, and physically... it's amazing. She's never felt anything like this. ]
no subject
"Try moving around like normal- I'll move with you. Get a feel for what it's like for the both of us to act as one. When you feel ready, try and call the bow to you, and we'll work through some artes. How's that sound?"
no subject
That's a wise idea. That way, we can determine how much or little I can handle at the moment.
[ She'll pause before taking a step forward, paying close attention to how it feels. Will she feel even more in-tune with Mikleo like this? ]
no subject
He doesn't just let her take over, though- he wants her to feel his share of control, too. The teamwork part is important, he's not just giving her his power freely.]
How does it feel?
no subject
It feels amazing. I can feel your powers with my own!
no subject
[He has no idea about the human part of the equation, besides what he was able to glean from Sorey, and he'd already armatized with Lailah by the time Mikleo became a sublord, so there was no first-time experience there.]
no subject
[ They've been able to hold it together for this long without any problems - it's a good sign that they'll be able to do much more than this. ]
no subject
[He hasn't actually gotten around to checking if she has any archery skills or if she focused more on her spear, but she's a well-trained soldier, so he wouldn't be surprised if she knows her fair share. And anyway, he has enough experience to balance things out if she doesn't have the same abilities as Sorey.]
no subject
[ She's been able to learn how to use a variety of weapons, it's just that the lance was the weapon she was most efficient with. ]
no subject
[There's a bit more excitement entering his voice, and with their shared body, she probably feels it, too. He's looking forward to each new step they take.]
no subject
--It appeared! [ Her eyes are wide, tone surprised. ]
no subject
[If he could clap, he would, but instead he just sounds pleased.]
How's it feel? It's a bit more of a handful than a normal bow.
no subject
[ She smiles, looking over it again before looking forward. ]
Shall we try to use it?
no subject
[Better to get the practice in outside of combat, right?]
no subject
[ She looks around for a moment, finding a place where it would be best to fire. ]
Would firing there suffice? There's enough space for us to fire.
no subject
[He lifts their joined arm to point; there's a lone target that stands out among the rest of the foliage, big and sturdy. Looks like it could handle a few seraphic artes.]
