WHAT?! [He drops the box they're carrying.] HOW HAVE YOU NEVER HAD A DONUT BEFORE?! [The horror!]

[aspearing]

[ Her eyes go wide before she looks a bit sheepish, scratching her cheek. ]

... If they're as good as you seem to think they are, taking these ingredients back may be a chance to try them.

[goldenglasses]

No, no, no! I mean, this stuff is good, but if this is your first donut it needs to be a proper one! Baked by an expert chef! [And by expert chef he means the closest bakery he can think of. He reaches forward and will take her hand if she allows it.] Come on! These boxes can wait! Let's go get one!

[aspearing]

[ There's a brief pause from Alisha when he takes her hand, looking to him in surprise before offering a small smile. ]

... Thank you, but is it wise to leave these?

[goldenglasses]

Yeah, they'll probably be fine. [Probably.] Besides we got more important things to do like getting you a donut!

[aspearing]

... [ Well, she can't argue with him when he puts it like that. ] If it's as important as you say it is, then let's go.

[goldenglasses]

[Vash will quickly lead them to the closest bakery he knows of. Apparently he comes in here a lot if the way the staff talks to him is any indication. He orders them each a few donuts and with a flourished bow he hands one plain honey flavored donut over.] This is a classic and I just know that you will love it!

[aspearing]

[ She offers a thankful smile then, taking the donut. ]

Thank you. I take it that you come here often? [ She didn't miss the way that the staff seemed to know him. ]

Every day if I can! Nothing like starting the day with a donut! The a mid day pick me up donut! Before finishing the day with a light donut snack!

[aspearing]

[ Sweats.... Well, his love for donuts is a little more extreme then she first thought. ]

I see... I'm glad that you have something to keep your mood up in this situation.

Yeah, it's a talent of mine to be able to find things that keeps the mood up. What do you think? I hope you like it. [If you don't he may think you to be a soulless monster.]

[aspearing]

It's an admirable talent, one that I'm sure is inspirational to others. [ It really reminds her of a friend from home - a friend that's here with her.

With that said though, she'll lift the donut, taking a small bite of it. Her eyes widen slightly, and she can't help but take another bite. ]

Most people say I'm really annoying. [He laughs wildly like this was a funny thing to be.]

[ Sweats... She doesn't really understand why that's funny. ]

I appreciate you sharing this with me. ... I may share this with my friends from home, as well.

Really!? That's a great idea! Donuts are great for sharing! I'm so glad you like it!

[aspearing]

Thank you. [ She says with a small smile. ] ... Though, I feel as though I should share something I'm fond of in return.

Well I'm always happy to try new things! So if you get a chance to find something to share with me I'll be excited to try it!

[aspearing]

I have been trying to learn how to cook. [ She starts softly. ] If I'm able to improve, I'll make something for you.

[goldenglasses]

I look forward to trying it in the future then! You'll have to let me know how you go! [Vash polishes off one last donut before he starts heading back out the door.] That was a nice break! But I guess it's back to work!

[aspearing]

Right. [ She nods. ] Let's head back.

[goldenglasses]

Alright! Let's go! [They can go back and Vash for once is a lucky bastard and hasn't had his stuff stolen. They can then get it moved onto his ship!]
