[Biffy comes on screen with a smile as he nods his head politely. Behind him one can see his lovely looking hair salon...the Maison de la Lune.]

Good evening. Given the fact that we are now in the season of Autumn, I felt that it was time to offer a special at my salon for all who wish to partake.

[He steps aside to wave at the interior behind him. It really is very lovely. Elegant even in the simplicity of it. Biffy had really gone out of his way to make sure that the interior design is very classy indeed.]

For this month, I wish to offer a special on makeovers. This will include a hair styling, as well as a scalp massage and a facial. For those interested in cosmetics, I am pleased to say that I can provide makeup for this as well.

[He turns back to the screen.]

Maison de la Lune

[Sure enough Biffy is at his shop a lot more this month. (Please don't mind the evenings he isn't. He's probably down on the planet running with his mate.) And whenever he smells someone approach, he is there to greet them with a smell and an impeccable bow. Here in his shop he isn't a Communications Officer, he isn't an Alpha, he isn't a Lord. Here he is just the humble keeper of this salon who is ready to take care of his customer.

So it is with that bow that he will look up, that twinkle in his pretty blue eyes.]

Good evening. May I offer you some tea and you can tell me how I may serve you this evening?

Lyall had to...depart from the pack to join another for a period of time. I took over duties as Beta in his place.

I see. At least you have him back now. That is something.

Yes. And honestly Lyall is better suited to the role than I am. At times I have questioned my suitability as an Alpha but having Lyall there always reminds me that I am capable of being where I am.

Then that is good as well, helping to remind you of what you are able to do. It does not sound like an easy position, but it is obviously important, and someone who can make it easier for the leader to lead is invaluable.

[For a brief time, he had done that with Kolivan. Afterwards, Antok started to shift into that role as Ulaz became the one who pushed back more, questioning their decisions. He had helped them move forward, Antok helped Kolivan]

Indeed. A pack does not function well without an Alpha and a Beta who work together to keep everything running smoothly. It's a true necessity to any healthy pack if I am to be honest.

I can't imagine it would work well. They are both important and from what you've said, sounds like they balance each other.

[Also if Biffy's decorating spree before Lyall arrived was any indication...]

Yes. A quality Beta helps an Alpha to stay grounded as it were.

[His cheeks flush a little.]

I'm sure you recall when I was quite insistent on decorating everything. It was my attempt to ground myself. Something I didn't have as much success in as I would have liked.

I see. Yes, now that I have that information I can see how the decorating may have been an attempt. Well, it may not have done much of grounding you, but it did have the effect of improving the Blameless.

[He still kept up the decorations both in his cabin and the lab]
