[Biffy comes on screen with a smile as he nods his head politely. Behind him one can see his lovely looking hair salon...the Maison de la Lune.]

Good evening. Given the fact that we are now in the season of Autumn, I felt that it was time to offer a special at my salon for all who wish to partake.

[He steps aside to wave at the interior behind him. It really is very lovely. Elegant even in the simplicity of it. Biffy had really gone out of his way to make sure that the interior design is very classy indeed.]

For this month, I wish to offer a special on makeovers. This will include a hair styling, as well as a scalp massage and a facial. For those interested in cosmetics, I am pleased to say that I can provide makeup for this as well.

[He turns back to the screen.]

I look forward to your patronage at the Maison de la Lune. Thank you.

Maison de la Lune

[Sure enough Biffy is at his shop a lot more this month. (Please don't mind the evenings he isn't. He's probably down on the planet running with his mate.) And whenever he smells someone approach, he is there to greet them with a smell and an impeccable bow. Here in his shop he isn't a Communications Officer, he isn't an Alpha, he isn't a Lord. Here he is just the humble keeper of this salon who is ready to take care of his customer.

So it is with that bow that he will look up, that twinkle in his pretty blue eyes.]

Good evening. May I offer you some tea and you can tell me how I may serve you this evening?

[What the hell? WHAT THE HELL, GUYS.]

Why didn't anyone tell me there was a freaking salon on this rust bucket?!

A most unfortunate oversight. However, I can assure there is one since I happen to be the owner of said salon.

Give me a menu and a price, and sign me up then. It's time for Taako to get some pampering done.

[Since he doesn't have his pocket spa anymore. DAMN YOU, ATROMA.]

[Don't worry, Taako. He's really good at this.]

Just a quick question before I head over - what scents do you have available, because if you have aromatherapy, I want that.

The oils I can provide are lemon, lavender, jasmine, peppermint, rosemary, rose, patchouli, and cinnamon. I have not been able to obtain other oils yet due to not having been on a planet that would have more of the oils to offer.

[Lavender and rose? Hell yeah he wants some of this. He'd come out of this salon smelling like a freaking floral bouquet if he had enough time and money.]

Do you do recurring appointments? Because if I have nothing else to do here, I might as well enjoy myself with a little luxury.

I mean, I'm already digging the aesthetic, my dude. If your service is up to snuff, then hell yeah I'm gonna become a regular.

[What interesting phrasing. Well, many worlds and all that.]

[As evidenced by his voice echoing off hallways and the sound of heeled footsteps.]

Oh, and cosmetics? Definitely a yes.

Of course. I will make sure I have everything ready for your arrival.

[Ulaz might not have thought twice about the announcement when he saw it. Yes, he did appreciate that Biffy had his salon and that he was quite happy with it. It gave him something productive that also served a purpose and made others happy as well. But he had never really considered anything like that for himself.

But Lyall had also seen Biffy's announcement and Lyall had sought him out, insisting that he go to the salon. It had taken some persuasion - Lyall really was far stronger than Ulaz would have thought for someone of his size and build - but it wasn't much later that he found himself walking into Biffy's salon this evening]

Good evening Biffy. I would appreciate some. Lyall suggested I come see you.

[He looks thoroughly amused now.]

Oh? Did he now?

[He waves for him to come and have a seat while he goes to get him some tea. Really he's not sure what to do with this hair style so this gives him a chance to think it over.]

And was he quite insistent about it?

Great. Be there in oh...twenty.

[And he clicks off the communicator for now. As promised in about twenty minutes (give or take), Taako is striding through the front doors of the Maison de la Lune. He's wearing his usual wizard's hat today rocking some red ribbon tied around it, a black waistcoat with red accents, a white stand collar blouse beneath it, and a flirty length houndstooth skirt, complete with a pair of knee high boots because nothing says anachronistic like almost matching the aesthetic and then tossing it out the window. He takes off a pair of sunglasses and tucks them into his pocket. Were they necessary to wear out here in space? Nope. Did he wear them anyway? Hell yeah he did.]

Loooove what you've got going here.

[Watching the broadcast, Eugene runs a hand through his hair. Frowns. Reaches back and realizes that he's let his hair go long enough that he can actually gather it into an ugly, stubby little ponytail if he straightens the curls out of their bunched-up mop.

Shit.

He opens his return broadcast with a rueful smile, realizing how far outside the intended services his request probably is.]

I don't suppose you take walk-ins for haircuts.

He did.

[Ulaz took a seat in the offered chair while Biffy went to get the tea. He wasn't sure there was much that could be done with it either, but at least he could honestly say that he had gone]

He was very insistent. I'm surprised he didn't follow me to make sure I actually came.

[Or did he?]

Evenin’ monsieur, [Remy answered once he was inside the shop, a little surprised by the offer but… it was a nice one to hear.] That sounds real nice, merci.

I heard ya broadcast ‘bout haircuttin’, ‘nd feel like I be needin’ something new. [He raised his hand to brush through his hair. It had gotten rather long as Remy really hadn’t taken the time to get a haircut for a while, long enough he had to start pulling it back into a ponytail to keep it out of his way. As much as he loved long hair… it was a hassle, so it had to go.]

[He's going to politely not comment on his attire. And how it's so close to being lovely save for a few key points that seriously need to be addressed. Instead, he smiles and gives a bow.]

Thank you. Would you care to sit down while I bring you some tea? We can discuss what you hope to have done at that time.

[He offers a hand.]

May I take your hat?

Are you sure he didn't?

[Biffy has no intention of revealing one way or the other. However, the twinkle in those blue eyes shows how amusing he finds the whole situation.]

[Handing him the cup of tea, he moves to stand behind him.

And then lowers the chair as far down as it will go. Biffy is not a tall man.]

[His eyes certainly take in that mop of a hair. The curls are lovely enough though but he can definitely tell they need to be tamed a little. Well, he has curly hair as well so he's happy to help with that.]

I most certainly do. An appointment is not necessary to partake in the services I offer at my salon.

[French? No. Not French. Not with that accent. Perhaps something decidedly American. It's that or this man must be from some world that speaks French for some reason.]

Please, have a seat here in my chair. I will fetch you a cup and we can discuss what you might like to have done.

[Just like the Victorian gentleman he is, he gives a bow and offers the chair before stepping away to go and get that cup of tea prepared for him.]

[He plucks his hat from his head and hands it over to the gentleman with a smile.]

Don't mind if I do. Before coming here, I was stranded out in the desert for what felt like years.

[Taako picks out an available chair and sits, threading his fingers together over his knee. It has seriously been too long since he's been anywhere nice. It almost feels alien and that? Is so not okay.]

That facial sounds amazing.

I cannot be sure he didn't. The Iskaulit is more noisy than the Blameless.

[Meaning he couldn't hear if someone had been following him. He had good hearing with those ears.

Ulaz took the offered tea, already expecting Biffy was going to have to lower the chair. And he was right. Even seated, he was still taller than the werewolf was likely used to working with. It was a little awkward, but he wasn't going to say anything. He had come to Biffy after all]

[This was... not something Remy was use to, and considering the custom being shown to him, he was suddenly feeling very undressed. This felt like a place far fancier for how he had just wandered in.] Thanks, kind of ya. [Taking the seat offered and getting comfortable in it.]
