[Biffy comes on screen with a smile as he nods his head politely. Behind him one can see his lovely looking hair salon...the Maison de la Lune.]

Good evening. Given the fact that we are now in the season of Autumn, I felt that it was time to offer a special at my salon for all who wish to partake.

[He steps aside to wave at the interior behind him. It really is very lovely. Elegant even in the simplicity of it. Biffy had really gone out of his way to make sure that the interior design is very classy indeed.]

For this month, I wish to offer a special on makeovers. This will include a hair styling, as well as a scalp massage and a facial. For those interested in cosmetics, I am pleased to say that I can provide makeup for this as well.

[He turns back to the screen.]

I look forward to your patronage at the Maison de la Lune. Thank you.

Maison de la Lune

[Sure enough Biffy is at his shop a lot more this month. (Please don't mind the evenings he isn't. He's probably down on the planet running with his mate.) And whenever he smells someone approach, he is there to greet them with a smell and an impeccable bow. Here in his shop he isn't a Communications Officer, he isn't an Alpha, he isn't a Lord. Here he is just the humble keeper of this salon who is ready to take care of his customer.

So it is with that bow that he will look up, that twinkle in his pretty blue eyes.]

Good evening. May I offer you some tea and you can tell me how I may serve you this evening?

[What interesting phrasing. Well, many worlds and all that.]

While I can assure you that it is, I will let you be the judge.

Already on my way.

[As evidenced by his voice echoing off hallways and the sound of heeled footsteps.]

Oh, and cosmetics? Definitely a yes.

Of course. I will make sure I have everything ready for your arrival.

Great. Be there in oh...twenty.

[And he clicks off the communicator for now. As promised in about twenty minutes (give or take), Taako is striding through the front doors of the Maison de la Lune. He's wearing his usual wizard's hat today rocking some red ribbon tied around it, a black waistcoat with red accents, a white stand collar blouse beneath it, and a flirty length houndstooth skirt, complete with a pair of knee high boots because nothing says anachronistic like almost matching the aesthetic and then tossing it out the window. He takes off a pair of sunglasses and tucks them into his pocket. Were they necessary to wear out here in space? Nope. Did he wear them anyway? Hell yeah he did.]

Loooove what you've got going here.

[He's going to politely not comment on his attire. And how it's so close to being lovely save for a few key points that seriously need to be addressed. Instead, he smiles and gives a bow.]

Thank you. Would you care to sit down while I bring you some tea? We can discuss what you hope to have done at that time.

[He offers a hand.]

May I take your hat?

[He plucks his hat from his head and hands it over to the gentleman with a smile.]

Don't mind if I do. Before coming here, I was stranded out in the desert for what felt like years.

[Taako picks out an available chair and sits, threading his fingers together over his knee. It has seriously been too long since he's been anywhere nice. It almost feels alien and that? Is so not okay.]

That facial sounds amazing.

[He takes the hat to hang carefully before fetching the list of his services. Hair cuts, hair styling, hair treatments, facials, masks... It's clear he's here for the sake of beauty.

And then he also hands him a nice steaming cup of tea. Steeped to perfection. He's from Victorian England. He's very proud of his tea.]

Now, what all would you like for me to do tonight?

[He gratefully accepts the tea and then starts perusing the menu. It's nice to be pampered and it isn't something Taako gets to do often anymore. Being on the road first and then adventuring didn't leave a lot of room for "me" time, let alone "luxury" me time. The pocket spa did wonders when they weren't actively in the field, but even that wasn't the same as treating himself.

His hair he can magic himself, but a facial and a mask? Ohh and his nails.]

Do you do manicures?

Presently no. However, if you wish to put in a request for such in the future then I will put in extra effort to look for the supplies when we stop by planets.

[It's what he does already with the rest of his supplies. He has no problem adding that to his list.]

[Ah, that's too bad. Taako sighs slightly and takes a sip of his tea - and instantly lights up again. Oh heck yes, this tea is just as it's meant to be prepared. He settles further into the seat with a smile.]

That would be delightful. Tonight then, a facial and a nice moisturizing mask perhaps.

Nothing for your hair then?

[It's almost disappointing really. He adores getting to do things with hair. And this hair just happens to be so deliciously long. He can just feel his fingers itching to want to do something with it. Still, if the customer would prefer he didn't then he won't touch it.

That doesn't mean he can't hint a little that he'd like to though.]

[He fingers the ends of his hair, looking at it. He could, conceivably, have a styling done, but he's still working on growing his hair out. It's long right now, braided as it is with gold decorations threaded through it. Taako considers it and the sound of disappointment in the owner's voice.]

Depends.... What were you thinking of doing with it?

You seem content with the length so I would not recommend cutting any of it. Rather, I have a style in mind that I feel would be most flattering for your features. Would you like for me to describe it? Or perhaps might I convince you to allow me to surprise you with it?

[Really he just wants to get his hands on this hair. After all, this is a hair salon.]

While I offer other treatments for pampering, my shop is first and foremost a hair salon. It is my specialty to partake in those matters and that is why even my special offers hair styling.

[He considers, looking at his style. That's a lot of trust to put in someone with something as precious as Taako's looks. He knows that he'd probably rock whatever it was, but even a minuscule chance of him not liking it is unforgivable. He could probably just use magic and lengthen or shorten his hair again if needed, but well....

Taako eyes the proprietor for a long moment and sinks into his cup of tea.]

Why don't you hit me with your idea, hm? I'll see what I think of it. I have a very specific image to uphold.

And someone who has my face here who would absolutely never let me live it down if I didn't like it.

[Why come to a salon if you're not even going to trust the person who owns the place? But, Biffy has a remarkable amount of patience and charm. He only smiles and there's no hint at all that he might be insulted.]

One would hope that someone who owns the shop would know what they are doing.

[With that, he prepares himself to pint a word picture.]

The detailing in your hair is beautiful, it's true. However, I think that with a slightly different style we could show off your bone structure and your face more. You would draw the eye even more to your beautiful features. A soft wave around the face with some braided detailing to help the rest fall elegantly down your back. With some more intricate braids to follow, you will find that it becomes a statement piece. Something that I believe rather suits your nature. Your hair is beautiful as it is now but I feel that you could have a touch more flare to it that would be both dramatic and lovely. Something that makes the world want to look at you and know that you are the most important individual around.

[New place means he has to earn his trust. Taako's been doing his own hair for years just because he doesn't want anyone near his neck with anything sharp. It's a vulnerable position to be in and he is not exactly great at trusting anyone.

But damn, Biffy, what a way to flatter him. Taako smirks behind his cup and inclines his head.]

I like what you're laying down, my man. [Also, if it makes him look better than Lup? Alllll the better.]

Why the hell not? Let's do it. Might as well splurge with all this money I have.

Wonderful. Then I will take a moment to remove these ornaments before we wash your hair and begin. It is often easier to start with freshly washed locks.

[He smiles at the reflection before expert hands start to carefully undo the work that has been done. Each detailing is carefully set before the mirror so it will not be lost and he's even making a mental note of how many there are so he'll be able to ensure that many get returned to his costumer at the end.]

[There isn't much for him to do now but relax. It's still a little disconcerting having someone who isn't employed by his pocket spa at his back. His ears twitch whenever Biffy's hands get too close to them or to his neck, but overall Taako's posture is slouched and his eyes hooded as he tries to enjoy his tea. Biffy's hands are steady and the click of the ornaments is methodical.

And there are a lot of ornaments - mostly gold and colored beads woven into his braids. A few miniature star barrettes that hold back a wisps of hair from his face. It should clash, but the way he arranged them made it look deliberate and stylish instead. He knows what he's doing after all.]

Mmhm condition that up, my dude. It shouldn't need much - elven hair is awesome - but a little extra care never hurts.

I would never dream of not conditioning the hair.

[He almost looks insulted at the suggestion that he would do anything but the finest of care for this hair he's in charge of currently.

Still, the ornaments are finally all out and he steps to the side.]

If you will come with me to my other chair?

Oh, I'm not saying you wouldn't - don't misunderstand me. I'm saying you'll be surprised at how little you'll need.

[He uncrosses his legs and stands, sliding out of the chair with ease. Then he follows Biffy to the salon chair.]

I've heard you guys have a lot of elves here though - are you familiar with any of 'em?

That was before my time I think. If any are still here then I haven't met them personally.

[This is officially his first.

Helping him to lean back, he gathers all the hair into the bowl and starts to wash the long strands. He even makes sure to give him a proper scalp massage as he does.]

So this is my first experience with Elven hair.

Not surprised. Even if they are here, some elves can be pretty reclusive.

[The asshole ones, at least. It's not unheard of on Faerun even where elves and half-elves are everywhere. There are always that subset that decided they were better than everyone else and just--- ohhhhhhhh. Taako lets out a sigh of contentment as Biffy gives him the massage, closing his eyes.]

Glad I could be your first.

[Heheh.]

I will have to keep that in mind.

[He laughs softly as he works the shampoo slowly through all of that hair before rinsing it free. Then it's an oil treatment that he also massages into every strand as well as Taako's scalp.]

You are not the only one who will find your kind to not be as prominent here though. I know of only two others who are my kind here. One of which it is probably for the best if I don't interact with.

["My kind?" That's....weird. He could have sworn the guy looked human. Taako raised an eyebrow and opened one eye to look back at Biffy.]

Could've sworn that humans were everywhere here, so consider my curiosity piqued. What're you that there's only three of you on this floating junk heap?

I am a werewolf.

[He tips his head down toward him before rinsing the oil from his hair, making sure that it is thorough rinsed so there won't be any oily residue left behind.]
