From what I can tell, this can be used for general questions and conversation just as well as more serious instruction. Am I right in that? [He looks contemplative even through the questioning, leaning his weight back a little further.]

Well, do correct me if I'm wrong, but I have an opinion question for all those willing to answer. Say you have two people from the same world from completely different time points. Oh, yes, that can happen! I was surprised myself. [For the more observant, you might notice Mattias in the background turning to deadeye the camera.]

If one terrible event has occurred for one person and not for the other, tell me, would you inform the unknowing of his wrongs in that event? Would you hold it above him, blame him equally, or beat him for it? Or is it not better to hold off on all of those things?

The answer seems quite clear to me, but please, tell me if I'm wrong to think it's cruel to inform someone of something so horrible they haven't done, let alone hold them responsible for it.

[He laughs at her brusqueness, sitting up more properly in his chair.]

I ask not that information be withheld or that violence vanish from life completely. I'm simply wondering if that should count as something right. To me, vengeance is not meant for teaching or for chances. It is meant simply as that.

[She scowls a little. First at the "my lady" and then at his laughter. But her expression does turn a little more thoughtful. She has experience with vengeance, or at least wanting it.]

Vengeance is a result of an action. Whether it is right or not relies heavily on subjective opinion as well as time. The meaning of any act can change in a matter of seconds.

Whether you intend to or not, you're asking for a simpler answer to a complex matter.

Complex matters aren't something he liked talking about. He'd give small details, but ultimately he wanted a distraction, or something to make him feel better in the moment. A few laughs over something. These responses were all too serious! Unfortunate, but he should have expected it with the subject matter and the crowd.]

You're correct in that. I'm afraid I was so emotional myself, I didn't think to realize that others wouldn't be able to comment on a situation like this.
