Where Trash World Rules Are Concerned
Who: Ulaz and YOU!
Broadcast: N/A
Action: various
When: Anytime while in system
Option 1: Scrapheap
[Ulaz could be found a lot of the time at the piles of junk on this planet. With so many projects to work on and a big one being Shiro's arm so that he didn't have that problem anymore, he needed a lot of supplies. Luckily he was a big guy and not likely prone to people trying to take things from him.
It seemed to be a worth while endeavor at least. He was finding a lot of things that he could use]
Option 2: Blameless
[Some of Ulaz's supplies from scavenging were squirreled away in his room because he didn't want to leave them out. Some, however, had been temporarily moved to the lounge space on the Blameless whenever he found himself with a moment.
From previous discussions with Death over on the Caprine, he had decided to try his hand at building something for Loyalty, Justice's cat. He had taken some time during the drift to read up on the tiny felines - especially since one kept coming in trying to chew on things in his lab - and he was prepared to try a solution that might keep her mildly distracted.
So he was currently seated on the floor of the lounge trying to put together pieces to make something of a "cat tree". There were also length of rope next to him and what must have been once some carpeting, but he wasn't ready for those yet.
Help him? Hinder him? Keep him company while he works? Your call!]
Option 3: Junker Racing
[He had mentioned it to only a few people since he had been here, but Ulaz had, in his youth, been quite a daredevil. Most however, didn't really know that.
But in the course of his investigations of the planet, he found the junker racing. Ah... youth. But he couldn't seem to tear himself away from watching it...]
Closed to Lyall: Arena
[He couldn't quite be sure how of their frequent conversations circled around to it, but it had. Probably the arena had come up somewhere along the line and it had sparked the conversation. Seemed the most likely.
Ulaz had been curious for sometime about the actual physical capabilities of a werewolf, but wasn't sure if it was polite to ask a gentleman when they tried to maintain a certain air eighty-night percent of the time.
Lyall was apparently frustrated after his glitch, as beat up as he had been. Understandable.
So it had been decided they were going to face off in the arena. It was not the venue Ulaz would have thought Lyall would pick, but who was he to complain. It had intrigued him too much to worry about it for too long.
Here they were, in the arena. Ulaz could have worn his full armor, but he had decided to keep it more fair, only the suit he worry under it. It was the most superficial of protection. But it wasn't a slight against what he thought Lyall could do; the tradition of palen bol meant Galra were notorious gluttons for pain, seeing it as an opportunity for growth. He did however have one of his swords. He didn't intend to use it, but if found he did, he'd have it]
Whenever you are ready.
[Lyall would have the first move]

I agree. I have not either. The crafts I piloted when I was younger were not all the sophisticated, but they were better put together than that.
[Sorry, guy who owns that racer. Your car is now an example of what not to do.
And since introductions are probably in order]
I am Ulaz, First Mate on the Blameless.
no subject
[Not that she hasn't flown or raced speeders, but as far as "official" sort of races go, Alderaanian Steeplechase is something she grew up with.
But that's not as important, in light of introductions. Leia nods, a pleasant sort of expression on her face.]
Leia Organa. It's a pleasure. I think I've heard of you before, actually.
no subject
[And usually more reliable]
Nice to meet you. Have you heard of me before? Hopefully nothing bad.
no subject
[Machines really are much more reliable, for the most part, but she can't complain about any of the animals she's ridden.]</small. Nothing bad at all. Your name came up when speaking with Shiro a short time ago.
no subject
It did? I'm not surprised. Shiro is the captain of the ship I am on and we have known each other.
no subject
[She doubts she'll know; she's sure she hasn't seen a species of alien that looks quite like Ulaz. But stranger things have happened, and she is genuinely curious.]
He spoke very highly of you.
no subject
[The comment of Shiro speaking highly of him did bring a faint smile]
Shiro is a good friend. I would trust him with my life.

It's still a strange feeling, being used to different planets and cultures and meeting beings from planets that don't exist where I'm from.
no subject
It is nicer here though in a way. The Galra as a whole didn't exactly make themselves welcome back home. Here, no one has that preconceived notion.
no subject
It's the same for me. And the fact that there aren't as many nonhumans here as I'm accustomed to is strange, as well.
no subject
Where are you from?
no subject
[She's not sure if anyone here, aside from Han, even does. Which is to be expected here, but thinking about it causes her to feel knotted up with too many complicated feelings that she would rather shove down and not think about.]

no subject
To my knowledge, there's no planet named Earth in the galaxy I'm from. Which seems to be the extreme minority among those of us brought on board.
no subject
[Which in his opinion isn't bad considering the Galra made themselves unwelcome]
no subject
[It's strange to think that way, that there are inhabited planets that people don't have much interaction with. She knows logically there are planets that isolate themselves, but she's much more used to planets with significant populations being involved and connected in interplanetary relations.]
no subject
no subject
[Not important, but a fact Leia can't help but add regardless.]
I haven't heard that part of the conflict Shiro was involved in.
[She's heard a lot, certainly. Enough to draw comparisons between what they've been through and what she's been through.]
no subject
There were Galra forces or at least someone having visited at most galaxies I know of.
no subject
But not you. You left them?
no subject
no subject
[Not that she would've ever considered herself "part" of the empire, but she was certainly pretending to be.]
I'm glad to know you broke off from your Empire.
no subject
Your world has a similar problem?
no subject
[Her world, well, that has other problems at the moment. And though she's generally hesitant to talk about the Alliance and anything connected to it, because it's such an ingrained habit from being involved in it since she was young, it can't hurt to add just a bit of an explanation. Out of fairness.]
My world was better off compared to others, but no planet truly has a good existence under the Empire strangling what little freedom remains.
no subject
[Ulaz was open about specifics of his group with only certain people and even they only had a name and what they did, not anything that would have exposed locations. Besides, there were no Galra and the Blades were not a secret anymore from what he had heard]
