We seem to be down a lot of people lately. If you've lost someone this week, come into the Space Bar. For you, drinks are on the house. And if you're new-ish, I'm Nami and I run one of the two bars on the Iskaulit. I'll give you your first half price.

For everyone else... I wanna talk glitches for a bit. Do you think the comas count as glitches? But aside from that, I'm compiling a list of the kinds of jackassery people get hit with in this Fleet. If you're comfortable talking about it, weigh in, even if you just want to leave me a note. I'm making a list.

[Not really for nefarious purposes. But it's at least useful to warn new people what kind of garbage they might suffer from during their stay.]

So, newbie here, but what is this glitching thing I keep hearing about? Because iiiiit does not sound fun and I'd rather not?

Yeah, I don't blame you. Okay, first off, have you been told about the augment you've got stuck in your neck?

Yeah, that thing? I try to pretend it isn't there. It's pretty much useless because I'm already a chef and it really messes up the whole neckline.

Well, great news! [The cheerfulness, it is so fake.] Occasionally that thing goes on the fritz and causes all kinds of weird side effects that shouldn't actually be possible. Turning into a kid or an animal or losing your memory are all kind of in the cards. It's great.

Memory is something I guess I'm used to, but the rest? Not cool. Is there any way to know when one's coming?

--oh well, I guess sometimes glitches start going through the entire Fleet when we do something the Atroma don't like, so... you kind of get a heads up then, because a lot of people are acting crazy. But if you want my advice, I'd leave yourself a note to help with potential memory loss or being a kid. It helps with a lot of confusion.

I've personally experienced alterations to my abilities; I've also seen memory loss, species alteration, behavioral changes, and one particularly bad case of the hiccups.

This is technically a savage undercutting of my business, but you've had a shitty time of it so I'm going to let it slide.
