Who: Kravitz and YOU!
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: On the SS Bloodsport!
When: After the last shuffle!
1) [ action -- SS Bloodsport ]
[ Hello, Bloodsport, you have a new crew member! He's... very confused, wondering why he keeps getting yanked around -- honestly, it's kind of rude. And definitely not the kind of rude that can be made up for with pudding and confetti. Oh well.
He brushes the colorful bits of paper off of the sleeves of his suit coat, straightens his tie, and... starts walking. There's got to be a reason he's just suddenly appeared in this place, right? ]
Hello? ... Is there anyone actually here?
[ Because geez, it's quiet - and not the kind of quiet he likes. ]
2) [ video ]
[ So far, Kravitz's entire experience here has been 1) wake up in a giant spaceship. 2) attempt to regain bearings. 3) almost immediately end up whisked away onto some other ship with a *Pop!* and some confetti. 4) try the pudding. ... It's mediocre at best.
So when he finds this... very complicated Stone of Farspeech... and sees others using it to talk, of course he's going to give it a try. He turns it on, angles the camera well enough to get himself in-frame, and clears his throat. ]
-- Right. Well. I've pretty much gathered the short of what this all is, so beyond that, I have to ask: how cut-off are we? Because there are several people that I really should call right now, and I have a feeling the answer is going to be, "That's impossible". So... how impossible?
[ He's been stuck alone and cut-off from everyone and everything before. This situation is, arguably, better than that... but that doesn't mean he has to like it. ]

Yeah, well, I'm working on that, but don't tell anyone.
[He holds a finger up to his lips and grins behind it. Maybe it had taken everyone else years to escape this place, but they hadn't had Taako in their corner. Plus now he has Lup - even if he's still on the fence with the trust thing - and Kravitz even.]
They're apparently watching, but not omniscient, so I just try to keep it on the down-low. Until then, it's just keeping ourselves busy and entertaining which I'm sure we can manage.

He returns Taako's grin, mimes zipping his lips. He figured that no matter how disillusioned some of the others he's spoken to have seemed, Taako wouldn't be so easy to keep down. Whoever these Atroma people are, they're going to have their hands full, that's for sure. And in Kravitz's opinion? They'll deserve anything they get. ]
Busy and entertaining... Can't really say I've ever had to think about making myself entertaining. Not sure how I feel about it, either.

[Taako's been entertaining enough that this month he's probably gotten an insane amount of money from all the stunts he's pulled. Even though he hates having to rely on unknown kidnappers to pay his bills, he's curious to see how much he's earned, too. Gold is gold after all.
Taako smirks and tosses his hair over his shoulder, giving Kravitz a wink.]
Besides, other than when you go all Skeletor, you're hella handsome so I'm sure people will just be happy to see you around.

Aaand it's his turn to be flustered, a little~ he doesn't blush -- not really a thing that happens -- but he does glance away for a second, smiling, and shakes his head. ]
Oh, is that all they'd want? Okay. So are they kidnapping all the best-looking couples then? Is that their game?
no subject
And wait.
Did he just say "couple?" Taako tries not to let the surprise show on his face, covering it up with a light laugh. Was he including them in that definition? They literally went on one date with a chance of there being another one whenever Kravitz got back to him after peacing out over the undead nature of his magic-eating umbrella.
But then again, maybe he meant someone else and commenting on the "couples" thing would look over-eager? Shit, he hates that he has feelings about this. It would be easier if he just didn't have them. Stupid Kravtiz being stupidly, weirdly charming??? Gods dammit.]
Mmmmmaaaaaaybe. There are a shitload of beautiful people here. Present company included, natch.
But not everyone here is paired off - they mostly just leave us to our own devices and watch whatever comes out. The world's -- universe's? Universe's laziest writing, but I guess it pays the bills.

passive perception must not be high enough right now.He laughs a little too, at the mention of all the beautiful people here - present company included as well as the speaker, natch~ But also, it makes sense, if this is supposed to be some sort of entertainment cash grab for... whoever. Whatever? Something. ]
Right. Character-driven story is one thing, this is just plain hands-off and lazy. [ He shakes his head ] You said a lot's happened, though. Right? ... Why don't we find somewhere to sit and talk? This ship has a kitchen and a lounge. ... Not that either are particularly nice or fancy, but they're... functional.
no subject
[He leans in toward Kravitz with the most mischievous grin he can manage, before sliding on past. The layout of most of these ships is similar enough he can probably find his way around.]
But seeing as you just arrived, it's probably just boring and empty so c'est la vie, let's go with the lounge.
[He'd normally head toward the kitchen, but this isn't his ship and entering another chef's kitchen would either annoy him or annoy them. With the former being the more likely since he's a very particular elf when it comes to kitchen organization.]
no subject
Well, you're not wrong. It's definitely, um, boring. Very spartan. Guess if I'm going to be stuck here, I might as well try to fix that sooner rather than later.

Considering the quality of things you'll find on that planet down below? I'll lend you some cash for an IOU on a date later. No one should have to suffer having to scrounge for decorations down there.
no subject
Oh, you can always cash in on a date. I'd be happy to take you. [ With a tone of, "of course, silly~" Then a pause, as he realizes, ] You know, I've barely even thought about visiting the planet yet -- that there is a planet to visit. Just one more thing to get used to about space travel, I guess?
no subject
And now, here he was, hanging off the Grim fucking Reaper's arm like they're going out to a play. And Kravitz was happily offering to take him on a date? Like an actual date? Not a meeting/date, but a real one.
Well, fuck me.
His life was so weird, but he isn't going to complain.]
Might wait until the planet we're at isn't an actual trash heap. Not exactly the most romantic locale for a date, wouldn't you agree?
[He hates how his heart races as he says that, so he covers it up with a cheesy grin.]
You're a gambling man though, right? I hear they have a casino here. Might be right up your alley.
