With these parts I've constructed new shields for our beloved little First Breath, as well as one medium range laser cannon, set on a swivel port.

For our next possible incursion with ... less than friendly species. I am willing to work with other engineers to help shore up defenses, as it were, or make them myself, but I will require coin or materials to do so.

[It would be pretty easy for her to meet up with him at Malum since they both work there, but she figures it would be nice to see him outside that space and she hasn't been getting out a lot this month other than work as she's been toiling away on her own scavenging, purchasing, and assembly of things for the Twin Roses.

So it's his lab that finds her leaning against the door frame not terribly long after the call.]

[He goes under his work bench to pull out ... what looks like a basic hilt of a knife.]

[She watches curiously. It wouldn't be the first time he's given her the gift of weapons though there's no occasion she can think of this time.]

[You're lucky she loves you, Tyrion. It's the only reason Riona actually gets up, gets dressed, makes a quarter-ass effort to look decent, leaves her room and travels. It's a miracle, really.

[He looks up from his books, and his face gentles before he gestures to the seat in front of his desk. Going into his drawer, he pulls out a bottle of wine from the Medieval planet, and two glasses. He gives them both a healthy amount, before pulling out what looks like a sword hilt and putting it in front of her.]

[Since they're on the same ship and Taako had just finished cooking when Tyrion put his announcement up, he just walks down the hall with a tray and knocks on the lab's door frame, popping his head in.]

I was wondering what you were doing with all those things, but a laser? Hell yeah, my man, that's pretty sweet.

[Tyrion looks up from where he is working, and his gaze narrows for a moment, before opening again at the tray.]

Thank you ... new ... crewmate? Unless you brought me a tray from one of the other ships just to offer me a compliment, and if that is the case, I am deeply flattered.

Not so new, my dude, you've just been buried up in here the entire time.

[Tyrion might have noticed that in the past three weeks, the food on the ship has vastly improved. He always leaves warming dishes out until the next meal time so people can come and eat as they please. Weirdly though, there's never any leftovers even if there's still food around after each meal. The ship interior changed as well, about a week or so after Taako appeared on the ship.]
