It's time for a spooky candy-filled drift, Flooters! And because no Halloween is complete without a few tricks...a mini player plot! If you'd rather just have a normal mingle, feel free to ignore it and tag about as normal!

On the Iskaulit for interested parties there are a few bowls of candy gathered from all the ships. It's a random assortment! The bowls are left in high traffic areas and they can be moved about, so feel free to say your character ran into the bowl wherever you like! Even in the bathroom? Who knows! Fancy hotels do it, so why not the Fleet.

Upon consuming candy taken from the bowl however, the character will have their hair or skin temporarily change color to something not their natural shade. This is a harmless illusion spell and can last anywhere from 1 to 8 hours - player's choice! What colors? Also player's choice! Want to go mauve for the day? Sure! Blue and green? Go for it! Rainbow glitter? Why not?

This is a completely harmless spell though, so while it looks like they've changed colors, it is not a real physical change. After a few hours, the effects wear off and everything is back to normal. Happy Halloween♥

Why? There isn't much else happening today.

[Drifting time was always harder to fill. Thor did his work around the ship, then his work in the office, but there's only so many ways he can draw up provision plans for the Statesman without being there before it drives him to distraction.]

[Sure, maybe it had been a while back home thanks to pinballing all over the galaxy in search of Infinity Stones, and before that he had stopped enjoying celebratory feasts in Asgard. He wasn't incapable of still finding them fun though.]

[He grins a bit, before it settles into something more thoughtful. He shrugs.]

Yes, it's the same as ever. It becomes tedious after a while.

[He puts the pirate hat back on before fetching up the drink he brought with him. The idea of needing a break was... nebulous, to say the least.]

A job? There aren't that many going around.

Everyone wishes to be entertained or kept busy. There is bound to be some niche you can fill.

It does not need to be as banal as a bar or a restaurant. That is for mortals, not Gods.

And that may be so, but I don't mind taking on everyday tasks.

I only work in case they need extra hands. I also run a ship, as you may have noticed.

Is it not most of what we do here to start with? Besides, I spent over two years on the road before that. There is time enough to do the work of Gods.

It wasn't aimless. I was looking for information.

[Going on quests and adventures might have been something he got a lot of enjoyment out of in the past, but these days need and practicality take priority.]
