Halloween Mingle!

It's time for a spooky candy-filled drift, Flooters! And because no Halloween is complete without a few tricks...a mini player plot! If you'd rather just have a normal mingle, feel free to ignore it and tag about as normal!

On the Iskaulit for interested parties there are a few bowls of candy gathered from all the ships. It's a random assortment! The bowls are left in high traffic areas and they can be moved about, so feel free to say your character ran into the bowl wherever you like! Even in the bathroom? Who knows! Fancy hotels do it, so why not the Fleet.

Upon consuming candy taken from the bowl however, the character will have their hair or skin temporarily change color to something not their natural shade. This is a harmless illusion spell and can last anywhere from 1 to 8 hours - player's choice! What colors? Also player's choice! Want to go mauve for the day? Sure! Blue and green? Go for it! Rainbow glitter? Why not?

This is a completely harmless spell though, so while it looks like they've changed colors, it is not a real physical change. After a few hours, the effects wear off and everything is back to normal. Happy Halloween♥

[He smiles warmly when Wanda rests her cheek on his shoulder, holding her as closely as the dance will allow. And when he catches that whisper, the Vision grips her a little tighter and whispers back into her ear I love you.

The next few dances pass in a like manner, with some romantic (some would say creepy, but he's in a Moon) slower songs mixed in with upbeat dance music, and after the particularly long and enthusiastic Thriller, he pulls Wanda aside to an area with candy, punch, and a few salty and savory snacks from the bars. He's not winded from the dancing, not exactly, but it's rapidly approaching the point where he wants Wanda to himself instead of in a crowd.

Putting that into words might be a little more difficult.]

Well, would you call this a successful Halloween party, do you think?

[Wanda's heart is melting for him, and each time Vision pulls her close again brings new whispered sweet nothings. It takes all her willpower to remind herself that they're in public and that she can't just kiss him in the middle of a dance no matter how much she wants to.

She will, however, admit to being slightly disappointed to be led to the snack table and not to a conveniently shadowy corner (as if she could be satisfied with just one kiss when she's feeling such an intense level of love). Instead, she has to content herself by munching distractedly on a pretzel and pouring a small cup of punch. She is thirsty after all that dancing...]

It's fun. I hope we get a chance to dance like this again.

[She smiles, shifting a little closer.]

But I think it is getting a little late.

[She's not too tired to stay longer, but she'll take that excuse to sneak away.]

[That's the answer he was looking for, and his smile matches hers. It's terribly distracting to be able to hold Wanda as close as a slow dance will allow and yet to keep his hands to himself. It must be obvious to everyone else in the room that these two are in love.

It's blindingly obvious to him, anyway.]

If I were to say my costume is getting rather uncomfortable, would you help me out of it?

[It's a teasing question, because she already said she would, but it's his way of agreeing that they could head back now. He leads her to the shuttle and back to her quarters, stealing a few kisses along the way but not really relaxing until the hatch is closed, and he moves to hold her from behind so he can kiss right where the fake vampire bite is.]

Do you know, I've wanted you very badly all evening?

[Her answering smile is somewhere between soft and mischievous.]

Of course, love.

[She's more than happy to steal away from the party a little early, not really caring if anyone notices them sneaking off together. Wanda mostly contents herself with holding Vision's hand for most of the journey and stealing only a few quick kisses until they're safe in her room. She wants so badly to lose herself in his kisses that Wanda knows she won't want to stop once they begin in earnest.

And this is such a pleasant way to start. Wanda's body melts into his embrace as he pulls her close. She clings lightly to his arms, tilting her head to grant him better access to her neck as she sighs contentedly.]

Asking me to undress you might have given it away, Vizh. [There's such fond amusement in her voice.] And I've wanted to kiss you so badly.

[He lightly pulls back her still-lavender hair for another kiss along her neck.]

It's a pleasure I so rarely get to indulge in. I hardly wanted to pass up the opportunity. [He opens up his mouth to fake-bite her and then breaks it off, laughing, and pulls away.]

Just a moment, dearest. I'd best remove these first. [And he pops out the prosthetic fangs that have been part of his costume, setting them carefully over on the desk. Once that's done he turns around with a flourish, holding his hands out to the side and letting the half-cape flare dramatically.]

There. I'm all yours, Wanda. Do with me as you will.

[Wanda shivers in pleasure before joining him in laughter. How is he so adorably sexy? It's completely not fair.]

I wouldn't have wanted to miss this.

[She smiles warmly, crossing the room to cup his face in her hands and gently guide him down for a real kiss. Her hands soon begin to wander, sliding down to his shoulders and then to the clasp on his cape. Her fingers fumble blindly with it until she finds the catch and when they part, she slowly pushes the fabric off him.]

Hmmmm... [She gives him an appraising up-and-down glance.] I wonder where I should start. Here? [She starts for his vest, but her fingers slide past the buttons and up to his cravat.] Here? Or maybe...

[Wanda's hand pulls away and instead goes for his, raising it between them so she can press soft kisses to newly-revealed skin. The glove falls unceremoniously to the floor to join his cape - she only has eyes for him right now.]

[Reluctant though he is to only kiss her once, the Vision stays still and lets Wanda take the lead on this. He'd worn the costume more for the novelty of it than because he wanted to be undressed, and yet there's a certain power to it, a relinquishing of control. He's put himself in her hands and she can strip him down to a state of vulnerability; it's delightfully intimate, even if the vulnerability is mostly symbolic at this point. Even so, symbols have power, and tonight the power is in Wanda's hands.

He catches his breath when she kisses his hand, and his fingers curl in to caress her face in return.]

Wanda.

[Just that, just her name, and it's half plea and half encouragement. They've had some pretty intense makeout sessions lately, but something about this Halloween party has been sending his desire into overdrive. Perhaps it's because they've both been enjoying themselves so much but holding back since it's been in public?]
