[ video ]

Who: Alucard + You
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: SS Red Fish
When: Right now!

[ broadcast. ]

[ when alucard woke up, he saw metal and wondered briefly if he was trapped in another coffin. but clarity comes soon after and he notices the bright, strange lights. similar to the kind that reside in his father's castle but . . . better developed. smoother, even. alucard rises into the air before letting his feet touch the ground. strange as this may seem, alucard isn't one to panic. answers will come and he will find them. at the very least, this does not seem to be his father's work.

one could consider that a mercy.

after some time, alucard finally finds the communicator and manages to turn it on. people would notice immediately that he is extremely pale and handsome. they would also notice he's bare chested. when he speaks, it's polite and soft. ]

Greetings.

[ a pause as alucard wonders if it is working. still he forges on. ]

I seem to be missing a few of my clothes. Particularly my shirt. Where might I find some?

The previous forgemaster would likely have been overjoyed to hear that. If you cannot find anything suitable in any of our next several stops, I could try my hand at forging one.

[Sokka'd done a decent enough job at making sure she knew how to do a lot of things, but there was certainly no substitute for actually doing them. Experience was always a better instructor than memorization.

That was more or less why she didn't seem too terribly surprised by Alucard's claim that he wasn't human, despite looking the part.]

So what are you then? You'd hardly be the first to merely look the part, but I do wonder just how many different kinds of you exist.

Should I be?

[Since, it's not like the word tells her all that much. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?]

Is that some [okay, "human" isn't the right word here, it'd just cause more confusion]... Earthling thing?
tough_love: (What is it human?)

Well that sounds dull. And, well, messy.

[Because she is at least...80% sure you can't just go into a marketplace and buy blood, which probably means the best option is getting it the old fashioned way, and you probably need a tarp more than a bib.]

Can you eat nothing else? I do not doubt our hosts have ensured you will not starve aboard whatever ship you've been assigned, but I cannot imagine it is pleasant to be forced to eat the same thing for every meal.

A request you would likely need to make delicately. I have never considered asking, but I do not imagine humans enjoy the thought of anyone feeding on them.

[Probably??? Who knows, they were weird enough in other respects, maybe their openness to the idea would surprise her.]
