001 video and action

Who: Akeldama and you!
Broadcast: Yep!
Action: Marsiva, First Breath, and Iskaulit
When: Beginning of November

Marsiva
[Lord Akeldama had woken not long before. He didn't feel quite like himself. He couldn't tell what was doing it more: the strange pain in the back of his head or the fact that he had essentially been ripped from his territory.

It was... different still somehow than it normally would have been.

He didn't necessarily feel like trying out this new gadget they had been given just yet so he stood by the large window looking into the blackness of space. He had always looked at it from the ground. This is what it looked like up close]

First Breath
[All of this moving around was not doing the vampire any good. Didn't they know that a vampire needed his territory in order to be settled. First one ship and now another. This was most inconvenient.

Hopefully, the moving between ships had stopped. He needed a few days to settle in, for his head to accept this ship has "his territory". He'd do better once that happens.

However, this other ship seemed to be more to his liking. The style wasn't quite what he'd do with his own house, but it was close enough and he wasn't going to scoff at it. So much better than that other ship.

So rather sitting alone in that tiny room they called a cabin, Lord Akeldama made his way to kitchen, sitting quietly by himself for the moment]

Isakulit
[Finally feeling more the thing, Lord Akeldama decided to go exploring this ship called "the Iskaulit". It certainly looked like there was more space there than on the other ships. He was right about that and was quite happy to go exploring, to see what sort of spaces there were available to the Fleeters.

He's probably not too subtle, dressed in plum colored evening jacket, gold waistcoat, high heeled boots, and a cravat of a different shade of purple that still seemed to compliment both the waistcoat and the jacket]

Broadcast
[Lord Akeldama has found himself a rather pleasing looking spot to make his post. It wouldn't do to have it look poorly behind him after]

Good afternoon, fellow passengers of this thing called "the Fleet". As I understand it, we are all trapped this positively wonderful place as part of a farce. Am I correct in this assessment? Is there anything else that I should know?

Mmm. Vampires are a western phenomenon, as far as my understanding goes. I can't remember off-hand if they appear anywhere else in Asia.

[her lips quirk] You'd be surprised how many people wouldn't notice them.

Oh, I'm sure we have some who've taken up residence. We just don't have any who were born in that territory.

[the smile widens] Humans tend to see what they want to see.

Oh, perhaps. She'd likely have to talk to one of my bosses if that's the case. Or the equivalent of them, in your world. If they even exist.

[she makes a noise that could almost be a laugh, if she was prone to that] It's interesting, isn't it? The way humans are. Even the ones who can see those things - they won't, if they don't want to.
dreamvour: (hard to go on)

Ahhh, it's nothing that organized. My bosses are the gods. Well - a certain set of the gods. There's no registry, because - well, they had a hand in creating most of us. And then they have us, their Enforcers, to remember the rest. More or less, at least. That might be a little closer to your bureau - we keep our kind in line.

[a snort]

That's if they even reach that stage. [but she's nodding in agreement] I don't think humans realize that every where they turn is "haunted", but most ghosts aren't interested in bothering with them.

Mmm, they "try". [she does air quotes and everything] I mostly let spirits move into my house so they have somewhere safe to live.

[she tilts her head] They do that in our world? That's . . . hm. They're not like that in mine; they remain if they want to, or if they've found out how to complete their unfinished business. But most of the ones I've met are polite. The regular ones.
dreamvour: (or the rumbling in the sky)

It can be, sometimes. For some, it's only temporary until I can find them somewhere more permanent. But there are some who prefer where I am, because they feel protected. There's all manner of creatures who live there, so.

Ah . . . mm, that isn't how it is in my world at all. Ghosts - spirits, they can exist for a long time. Though it also differs depending on what kind they are, and so forth. "Ghosts" in general are complicated.
dreamvour: (you dreamed you were big)

Mmm. I know a lot about ours because those are who I primarily deal with. And because I've been around a long time and with that sort of thing, you generally just pick up knowledge as you go. [a shrug]

It's interesting that ours do. For ours, once the spirit leaves the body it's rare for it to return. Humans have near-death experiences, but past that once the spirit leaves there's no connection left.
