001 video and action
Who: Akeldama and you!
Broadcast: Yep!
Action: Marsiva, First Breath, and Iskaulit
When: Beginning of November
Marsiva
[Lord Akeldama had woken not long before. He didn't feel quite like himself. He couldn't tell what was doing it more: the strange pain in the back of his head or the fact that he had essentially been ripped from his territory.
It was... different still somehow than it normally would have been.
He didn't necessarily feel like trying out this new gadget they had been given just yet so he stood by the large window looking into the blackness of space. He had always looked at it from the ground. This is what it looked like up close]
First Breath
[All of this moving around was not doing the vampire any good. Didn't they know that a vampire needed his territory in order to be settled. First one ship and now another. This was most inconvenient.
Hopefully, the moving between ships had stopped. He needed a few days to settle in, for his head to accept this ship has "his territory". He'd do better once that happens.
However, this other ship seemed to be more to his liking. The style wasn't quite what he'd do with his own house, but it was close enough and he wasn't going to scoff at it. So much better than that other ship.
So rather sitting alone in that tiny room they called a cabin, Lord Akeldama made his way to kitchen, sitting quietly by himself for the moment]
Isakulit
[Finally feeling more the thing, Lord Akeldama decided to go exploring this ship called "the Iskaulit". It certainly looked like there was more space there than on the other ships. He was right about that and was quite happy to go exploring, to see what sort of spaces there were available to the Fleeters.
He's probably not too subtle, dressed in plum colored evening jacket, gold waistcoat, high heeled boots, and a cravat of a different shade of purple that still seemed to compliment both the waistcoat and the jacket]
Broadcast
[Lord Akeldama has found himself a rather pleasing looking spot to make his post. It wouldn't do to have it look poorly behind him after]
Good afternoon, fellow passengers of this thing called "the Fleet". As I understand it, we are all trapped this positively wonderful place as part of a farce. Am I correct in this assessment? Is there anything else that I should know?

Well, I can't fix the welcome package part, unfortunately, but I can answer any questions you have. And help get you anything you might need. Supplies are a bit... odd ball on this planet, but it does make it easier to set yourself up until your first "paycheck" comes through.
[ He gave Akledama a warm, reassuring smile. ]
Though you seem to be doing all right on that end already.

Atroma does like defying normal. As well as basic decency and sentient rights, but take the silver linings where you can, right?
If I might ask - why is it normally impossible for a vampire to travel?
[ He cocked his head slightly. He would be more surprised over the term vampire if he literally wasn't on a boat full of weird shit. Vampire was mundane by comparison. ]

You see, vampires are connected - tethered is the word we use - to a location. A hive queen for example, she can't leave her house. Her associated underlings have a bit more range, but still close to their queen except in dire circumstances. The only difference is the praetoriani. He can move furthest from their queen on a regular basis if only to seek threats before they arrive.
Roves, like myself, have the most freedom. I have a large portion of London town at my fingertips, but still I must return to my home.
Moving outside ones territory can be dangerous to ones health.

Well, as I am sure you know by now, you're a long way from London town. Hopefully that's not causing you too many issues. Other than your wardrobe situation.
There's nothing for it though until we make a way station or a planet, unfortunately. You'll have to beg, steal, and borrow until then. But I'll be happy to take you down to whichever we make first - give you a shuttle lesson along the way.

Begging and stealing are not in my nature and I'd be cautious about borrowing. But I suppose I will have to make do.
[He smiles at that last part]
I do so appreciate that, my ducky darling! I would enjoy to see how the shuttles work.

It won't be long now, I'm sure, until we get somewhere that you can find clothing to your taste. Stiff upper lip and all that, right?
[ He raises a brow at what sounds like a pet name. But he chuckled and gave a little bow at the chest. ]
Then it will be my pleasure to give you your first lesson.

[He waves the closed fan he's been holding dramatically... because Lord Akeldama loved drama even if he had to make it himself. Then he smiles]
Splendid! I look forward to it!

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, as they say.
[ There might be a chill that goes across his spine, the hairs on his arm pricking for just an instant. An omen, perhaps. But, he doesn't believe in that sort of thing. Just an AC unit on the fritz. ]
Do you need help with anything else? Perhaps something to take your mind off your burden?

[You don't know what you just signed yourself up for...]
Perhaps you can show me around this ship. There is so much here.

Beauty is the eye of the beholder, as they say.
[ No, no he doesn't He already feels like mistakes were made. ]
Certainly. Where would you like to start? We have the bards, the gardens, the swim and recreation centers, and the library...

Please, let's take a look at the gardens first. I feel like I have been stuck inside for too long.
