002 tea + biscuits (locked to tyrion lannister)
Who: Sansa Stark, Tyrion Lannister
Broadcast: n/a
Action: First Breath
When: 27 October
( It seems that Sansa has quite a bit to make up for after having been gone for several moons and she means to start doing so as soon as she's cleared from quarantine. She unfortunately has nothing to wear aside from the jumpsuits provided to passengers as soon as they arrive in the Fleet and none of her fine things from before are still around. It's a bit disconcerting, yes, but she can at least make her hair look nice even if the rest of her is a lost cause. She hails Tyrion before coming over, not wanting to drop in unexpectedly, and finds her way to his quarters. )
I'm sorry I don't have anything better to wear but as soon as we get to a system where I can buy fabric, I intend to work on new gowns. For now, though, you get this.
( It's such a small thing to be hung up on but she's hung up on it nonetheless. One should look their best when trying to make amends. )
You'll forgive me, I hope?

[Tyrion stated simply, and truthfully.]
I have never met a woman like you, Sansa. You hold your dignity above the rest of us dirty folk like a crown upon your head.
no subject
( Sansa likes that he admires her strength, especially since there had been points with Ramsay where she'd felt very weak indeed. It's a good quality to have, she thinks, and one she's glad that others see in her. )
I didn't always have that dignity, my lord. There were times when I thought myself dirty, or used, and unworthy of love any longer. It's something I've had to put myself back together and earn again - so I thank you for seeing it in me and admiring it.

Most of the men I know, who have lost their dignity never regain it. So, consider me doubly impressed, lady wife.
no subject
( Sansa sighs a bit and folds herself up on the couch; it's not exactly the sort of romantic talk she wanted but she supposes it's something they need to talk about as husband and wife. )
I suppose it was my fault for trusting Baelish, though. I was old enough to refuse the marriage contract with Bolton.
no subject
[He took her hand, and started to kiss her fingers gently, to bring her to relaxation.]
My dear, no one should have trusted Baelish. You were not the only one. As it stands, though, I think we shall all survive him."
no subject
( Baelish had ever been a schemer but that had been a new low entirely. He needed to be dealt with. )
no subject
[He mused, before his lips curved into a faint smirk.]
I am just glad it was the Starks who showed him that.

Arya and I decided we were stronger together than apart.
( Sansa reaches out and touches Tyrion’s hand, rubbing her thumb over the back of it. )
I’m stronger with you than alone.
no subject
I want you to know ... I would like to kiss you again, and ... I have always known we would be stronger together.
no subject
( It's a bit coy, yes, but Sansa feels comfortable with Tyrion in a way she doesn't think she's ever felt comfortable with any man. It feels right to tease him. )

Darling wife, do take it easy for me.
no subject
I'm sorry, my Lord.
no subject
[He ran his fingers soothingly across her cheek.]
I just - well. It has been quite some time since I have kissed a woman, and never one as beautiful as you. You quite overwhelm me.
no subject
( Sansa doesn't want to make him uncomfortable - that's the last thing she could possibly want. She just wants closeness. )
no subject
[He sighed, cupping her cheek again.]
Please, stay. I am a grown man and I can control my urges.
[He could also pour cold water on his cock, so either way it would work.]
no subject
( Tyrion's being very kind about the whole thing and Sansa desperately doesn't want to leave but she doesn't want to make things difficult for him. )
no subject
[He sighed, as he made himself sit up.]
Perhaps you are right. Perhaps we should both be kind to one another.
no subject
( Sansa doesn't know what will cure the problem other than time - which makes her impatient. )
no subject
[He took her hands again, his face going serious.]
Your body is your own - and I will not force anything from you. My hand is good enough for me for any stray passions I have. You give me what you can, and I will be more than grateful.
no subject
I know and I am grateful. It's just...you deserve better, Tyrion, than to have a wife you cannot be with in both heart and body. Everyone deserves the chance to love and be loved and to express that with someone.
no subject
You deserve the same, Sansa, and I want to make it clear that I will do my utmost to be deserving of it. But you owe me nothing. Least of all your body.
no subject
( Sansa had been in the Fleet just long enough before to know that marital rights aren't something guaranteed to any man and that sharing her body should be of her own free will - but Tyrion, too, will have desires and wants that she's afraid she cannot fulfill. )
no subject
[Tyrion stated with a completely straight face.]
As long as we keep it attached, I shall have no problems.
