[Vash stands in The Space Bar as it takes a moment for him to talk himself into making an announcement. Perhaps it was because part of him had hoped that Nami would be coming back.]

Hey. [There's a pause. He's heard these types of posts so many times. More than any other person in the fleet except for one, but he still didn't know how to start them.] So, Nami has been sent home. [Or at least he hoped so. Vash still had his doubts about that, but it still sounded nicer.] I guess I just wanted to let everyone know the bar is still open for business.

And, I suppose we should have a staff meeting. Figure out who's going to run the place. [Because he's not management material.] And maybe think about hiring someone else full time?

Mostly deep fried stuff. Hard for me to mess that kind of stuff up. Also some chicken wings and burgers.

But we could probably come up with some kind of really hot wing eating contest! Maybe you could come up with something like that? Hm, but then we'd need to think of a prize and there's so many people with powers here that could cheat. [Vash hums in thought over this idea that just sprung up on him.]

We'll need food items on hand that serve to reduce the impact of the heat. Milk and bananas usually work at home. If you make food hot enough, even the most dedicated of powers can't work straight away.

Credits might suffice as a prize. A small pot for a feat of endurance.

If we're lucky, I might have something to start with in the kitchen on the ship. Peppers are usually where people start at home for heat where I come from, but alien worlds with alien food will make this a good challenge.
