[Vash stands in The Space Bar as it takes a moment for him to talk himself into making an announcement. Perhaps it was because part of him had hoped that Nami would be coming back.]

Hey. [There's a pause. He's heard these types of posts so many times. More than any other person in the fleet except for one, but he still didn't know how to start them.] So, Nami has been sent home. [Or at least he hoped so. Vash still had his doubts about that, but it still sounded nicer.] I guess I just wanted to let everyone know the bar is still open for business.

And, I suppose we should have a staff meeting. Figure out who's going to run the place. [Because he's not management material.] And maybe think about hiring someone else full time?

Don't suppose you have any experience with running a bar, do you?

I mean, I've got experience running a business, but - you don't want me running the bar.

You have more knowledge than I do then. I don't have any experience with running a business; except for watching Nami and other people do it.

[But Ben might be right. He may not be the best to run the bar.]

Most of what I know about bars I've learned from working here, the business stuff is just what I've picked up in the last couple years. [and he wasn't sure if that even counted] I mean, if you need someone temporarily? I'll do it, but I'm not - [he winces] - I'm not a reliable choice. You know, apart from being a giant asshole.

Well, we could use people behind the scenes as well. Like cooks and chefs if you're interested. [Nothing personal Mantis, but Vash isn't sure you're the most sane person in the fleet. Might not be the best fit for bar tending.]

If you have spices, I can try and do something with them. Bar menus tend to be pretty simple. [He is 1000% not sane, but he's trying to get better at the social thing.] What exactly do you feed people at your bar?

Mostly deep fried stuff. Hard for me to mess that kind of stuff up. Also some chicken wings and burgers.

But we could probably come up with some kind of really hot wing eating contest! Maybe you could come up with something like that? Hm, but then we'd need to think of a prize and there's so many people with powers here that could cheat. [Vash hums in thought over this idea that just sprung up on him.]

Most people help out part time, or at least start part time. I know I did. [Now he's more a full time employee, but he doesn't mind.] So we can give you a trial period if you'd like it.

[See how dependable she is or if she might not like having regular hours and end up skipping out on her shifts.] There's a bit of a costume theme here. We have an old west kind of vibe going on. [Or for him: feels like home. He swings the camera around to show a spare uniform hanging up.] It's not mandatory or anything, but most of us wear something like this if you're interested.

That... yeah. [There wasn't a lot of words to add to that. It was always a shock to hear when a friend went home, but Remy was so use to seeing Nami almost everyday with working for her.] That goin' to take some gettin' use to.

[Ok, no, as sad as it was, and Remy would take time to mourn this loss at a later point, it was solution time for the bar. Remy rubbed at his face with a hand.] So... do ya know how she ran this place? Did she have books somewhere or... plan to how she organizes everything with getting items 'nd trackin' what gets used up? [He hasn't ran a business before, but Remy had an idea what it was like. The Guild had more legal sides to it, they had to clean their money somehow, and Remy had seen how those operate.

But this was different.]

Probably? I've seen her with some books somewhere. I've never had much business sense though so I'm not entirely sure. [He's happy for the moment to focus on the bar. Keeps his mind off of how he's just lost many of his friends recently.]
