[Vash stands in The Space Bar as it takes a moment for him to talk himself into making an announcement. Perhaps it was because part of him had hoped that Nami would be coming back.]

Hey. [There's a pause. He's heard these types of posts so many times. More than any other person in the fleet except for one, but he still didn't know how to start them.] So, Nami has been sent home. [Or at least he hoped so. Vash still had his doubts about that, but it still sounded nicer.] I guess I just wanted to let everyone know the bar is still open for business.

And, I suppose we should have a staff meeting. Figure out who's going to run the place. [Because he's not management material.] And maybe think about hiring someone else full time?

Fine, good. Long as he gives me shifts and lets me pick up extra ones, I don't care.

I don't think you'll have to worry about that. I doubt Remy will be looking at changing people's shifts up too much as long as they're working. And I've actually gotten a few people interested in possibly joining us so maybe we won't need to work as much if we don't want to.

Long as I don't gotta worry, I don't care what goes on. [a shrug] I'm simple like that.

Shouldn't you worry, you know, at least a little bit about what's going on at the place where you work?

I worry when I have to. [SHRUG]

And you don't think who has control over your job is a reason to worry?

Not really? Like - it's a bartending job, dude. I picked it up 'cuz I needed something to do so I don't go out of my mind. As long as it's here, and I can keep doing it, I don't care who's in charge.

Well, when you put it like that I guess I can see your point. [His heart wasn't in teasing today. He may not say it, but he was missing Nami too much to completely give into his normally joyous nature.]
