I've just been doing it better.

[With her transaction completed, Taako slides his things over and starts his transaction. He also refuses the gift-wrapping and then bundles everything together after transferring the credits to the shop. It feels weird not to be making some sort of deal or running some kind of scam on this lady, but it's not his money so he supposes he shouldn't care.

Everything all finished, he gives the shopkeeper a salute and starts for the door.]

But I feel you - the fashion show must go on and all. Just be sure to have a spell whipped up in case you need traction or warmth. I think the whole thing's outside.

Awww, thanks for the protip, Mama Koko. I didn't think you'd be worried about me.

[It's an easy tease as they walk through the door, and as she holds it for him she gives his shoulder a playful pat. There's a slight arcane tingle; true to her word, she's cast Fly again. There's no way in hell she's slipping and sliding all over the ice again, especially with her new outfits and those awesome shoes in hand.]

[Oh gross. His face twists in distaste at being called "mama" anything until he feels the Fly spell come over him. Having felt it once before and now knowing the parts that went to it, it's easier to recognize than the last time.]

[He can't remember if the wedding was outdoors and the reception indoors at this point, but that's because his attention was on the menu not the actual ceremony. He recalls hearing "outdoor" and "pay" and the rest went out the window.]

[Since he's not running, it's actually not that hard to walk after her, stepping carefully despite the spell cast. If he needs to fly, he will. But it's not bad keeping his feet on the ground either. He glances down the alley, taking note of how blase it looks and trying to pick out landmarks nearby so he can find it again.]

Cool. I'll probably need it since I can't exactly ask the Fleet hairdresser to do my hair on his wedding day.

[Just what is he up to...? She has half a mind to follow him, but she doesn't want to encourage the stalker nickname, so maybe she can wrestle the answer out of him later.]

[He takes a step back from her and gives Lup a quick salute, tamping down on his nervousness. Getting the boots for Lup had been easy, but what the hell did you get for Death?
