[ Yeah, turns out Blinking around and taking advantage of well-timed Dimension Doors are pretty great strategies for Reaper work. Who knew!

Taako shoves him forward, and he rolls with the momentum and steps right into the Ethereal Plane. The chaos around them continues, but at least it's silent, monochrome and - most importantly - no longer an immediate concern for them. He's out of breath too, and all but collapses back against the wall beside him. ]

Yeah. Too close. [ A pause... and then he laughs - just a little. ] But we made it.

[Kravitz might just be laughing a little, but as Taako sees the guards run by none the wiser, he bursts out into a full belly laugh. He just heisted royal jewels with the godsdamn Grim Reaper on their second date. A date that was supposed to just be boring old dinner and maybe some walking around.

Now?]

This is the best thing ever. I can't believe you let me do this.

[ Okay, when Taako starts laughing, Kravitz can't help but laugh all the more. ]

Believe me, this is not how I thought this date would go, and yet. [ He grins. ] This-- this whole thing has been absolutely crazy, but that actually just happened. [ He shakes his head. ]

Welcome to my unpredictable life.

[He almost says "Get comfortable," but stops himself in time. That might be a little too fast, even for him. Taako grins and reaches into his pocket, taking out a silver brooch with a red gem in the middle.]

Stick with me and you'll never have a boring time.

[Taako leans over and slips the piece into Kravitz's jacket pocket with a smirk.]

[ He watches as Taako palms the piece, slips it into his pocket - and he answers that smirk with one of his own.

"I wouldn't ever want it any other way," is the first thing that comes to mind -- but that's too much, too soon, no matter how true it might be. It's only the "second" date, after all... but it's okay. He's still glad there had been a "second" date period - he can't say he would have blamed Taako if he chose to stay away after Kravitz told him the truth about coming from later in the timeline. But they're here. And it's gone well, and obviously Taako's happy, and that's what matters most to him. ]

I think I like the sound of that. [ He nods, then inclines his head toward the door. ] Shall we keep this date going? I mean, we obviously won't top that, but still.

Yeah, I think my original plans for the evening are going to have to be shelved for.... [He hums as he thinks.] -ever.

[But that doesn't mean he thinks the date night is over. This was just act one of act...however many it ends up being. He's gonna have to think fast and try to come up with something that could top messing around in the museum and making fun of fancy people.]

[He runs over a list of things he's heard about on this planet. Not fishing, not shopping, not hitting up the random parties....]

[ He's glad that date night isn't over. They could've done anything perfectly mundane after this and he would have just been happy spending time with Taako - but hot springs? He's definitely here for that. ]

Sounds perfect. Good way to wind down after a successful job, even.

[ Ha. Yep, this is definitely a date he's not going to forget ever. ]

Let's Blink our way out of here, drop the disguises, and go, shall we?

[Taako snickers at how easily Kravitz agrees and then follows it up with that phrase, "successful job." Like he's some kind of professional thief and not an envoy or bounty hunter or whatever of the Goddess of Life and Death. He might be all up on the breaking and entering part of being a criminal for his work, but straight up lifting loot from a museum? Taako would have thought this would be a first.

He snaps a finger and his disguise falls away in an instant. He's more than happy to get rid of the ugly plain nerd he'd been masquerading as and to return to his fabulous self.]

Gonna just go ahead and drop the disguise first. I'm super done with that. My shuttle's pretty close by, so let's take that and get the hell outta Dodge.

[As for getting out? It's easy. All the guards are swarming the main hall now, trying to stop people from leaving as guests and fancy folk get all up in arms. It's a simple thing to Blink out to the service exit and wander outside, then to put on airs of being confused when people start saying the museum is closed for a bit.

"What a tragedy! I had reservations. Oh well."

Then it's just a hop skip and a jump to his shuttle and before anyone is the wiser, they're squirreled away in the cockpit with Taako patting the passenger's seat for Kravitz to sit. With his other hand he's got the start-up sequence going and starts plugging in the coordinates to the springs into the navigation.]

So is this- the stealing thing, is this a one-time thing or are you finally joining me on the Chaotic side of life, hm?
