[Manji had seen Katie had left on the roster. He checked after hearing Makie had left and saw her name listed there. Still he waited another week before returning to the ship, half expecting them to come back.

He quietly looks around Katie’s abandoned room as if to assure himself she’s really gone before picking up an item and walking out again to return to the Iskaulit. It has been more of a home to him then the Vanquish has been. Which is why when he makes his broadcast it’s in the garden on the Iskaulit.]
Katie is gone if you haven’t checked the rosters. Don’t know if she left anyone anything as I didn’t check, but you can look at her room if you want. Sorry. I guess. [He’s really not good at this sort of thing.

He thinks he has turned the broadcast off as he tosses the communicator down on the ground. Maybe he did and it’s turned itself back on, but either way it gives a crocked shot of Manji standing with the item he stole from Katie’s room: her lightsaber.]
How’dcha turn it on again? [He gives it a couple wags in his hand before the beam erupts from the handle as Manji yelps in surprise.] SHIT! [At least he didn’t stab himself with it this time? He turns the handle over in his hand several times.] There we go.

She made it hard to like her, but for some reason some people did. Thought they outta know is all. That's all it is. [It's not that a part of him had started to grow a little fond of her or anything.]

And if I was hoping to keep something of hers for a reward I would have done it the first moment she left. Hell, if all I really wanted was something she had I would have just taken it and not said anything at all. [He has a feeling she's trying to allude to the light saber that he's hidden away in his kimono so he tries to steer the conversation away.] Just no one else had done it yet so I did.

[Manji stares at his for a bit. Silently debating if it would be worth the trouble of just walking away, but in the end decides against it. He pulls out the handle of the light saber for her to see.]

Have you considered that the weapon may not have been made with the intent for it to be held by one with hands your size.

Of course I have. It also doesn't feel like it was exactly made for her size hands either. [He would almost say it was made as a training weapon for someone much younger; except it seemed way too dangerous for something like that.]

Would it not be more advantageous for you to seek a weapon more suited to you? Unless... you are holding on to it for sentimental reasons. A secret fondness for someone you so despise.

[He smirks just a little despite himself.] I have it because I like to collect unique weapons. Gotta admit, I don't think I've seen a more unique weapon than this one.

[Manji isn't so sure he can win if she has the same powers as Katie. Hell, if she had simply asked straight out for it he likely would have given it to her. There was just something here he didn't like. If she wanted anything of her sister's she had plenty of time to get it. No, he's pretty sure she's only doing this to piss him off so he stubbornly digs in his heels and starts making threats he can't back up.]

What I want is for you and your sister-- or any other family you might have to leave me the fuck alone. You go your way and I go mine. I'm immortal, bitch, so I will outlast you if you really want to do things the hard way. [Manji plays the long game now. He never has to "win" a fight he just has to outlast it.] Honestly, I'm really not interested in starting a feud. Too many hero types on this fleet that will try to involved on either side and that's just messy. Now, I've given you and your sister your space and I'll continue to do that for you too, but only if you do the same. Got it?

[He's been basically living like a hobo to avoid the Vanquished while Katie was there and he feels he's done more than his fair share to keep the peace. He won't be bullied much further.]
