Yeah... I guess I do. Though, the universe seems to be a pretty big place regardless of where we are. I imagine there's weird places all over that people just haven't found, yet.

Definitely. I lived out in a desert, so the idea of a wide open space wasn't all that weird, but it's different when you're floating in it and there's literally nothing around but pinpricks of light in the distance.
[Of course, the fact that you could slowly run out of air or starve to death or die from exposure if your spacesuit failed was something of a concern, too. Also, just slowly going mad. He'd been through that, too. He decided to leave that part out.]
