[For those who have seen Krolia and Ulaz, it may be easier to recognize a Galra. A Galra who is picking a piece of confetti off of his shoulder. He looks less than impressed by the fact that he got to have his "celebration" for his arrival to the Goldstone. He also looks like he barely fits in this room that he's been assigned to... No wait. When he shifts it's clear he's in the armory.]

To the SS Goldstone, I am Kolivan of the Blades of Marmora. It seems I have been assigned as your security officer. At least for what is supposedly meant to be security in this...fleet.

[He maaaaaaaaaay not approve of. AT ALL.]

We will need to improve the regulations for this ship. The security needs improvement.

[As for the rest of you, he'll introduce himself in his own fashion to you as well. Though anyone who is from the Blades of Marmora will here a sort of tapping in the background. A coded message to you saying the following: "If there are other Blades here respond. This is Kolivan. If there are any other Blades here please respond..."]

Since I am currently residing with this fleet, the introduction will apply to you as well for the sake of efficiency. For now...signing out.

Goldstone

[With that message sent, he goes back to figuring out the state of the security on this ship. Thus far he's not impressed with it. It's too easy for someone to get onto this ship uninvited. While things appear peaceful that doesn't mean they will remain so.

Which means that it's easy to spot the towering Galra ducking through the ship to figure out where the holes in the security are so he can look into fixing them. The last thing they need is to be vulnerable for a potential attack.

Please don't mind that he's always frowning. That's just...Kolivan.]

Iskaulit

[When he's not on the Goldstone, he's exploring the Iskaulit. He's heard that there are a lot of abandoned rooms here so he's hoping to find more supplies here. Or information. (Especially information.)

Once again, it's easy to spot him since he towers over heads as he walks along. For now his braid is wrapped around his neck almost making it look like he has a white choker. It keeps it out of the way for the time being, something he feels will be necessary should he come across an area where he'll need to put on his helmet. One can never tell what the air quality will be on a ship with abandoned rooms in it.

Alright and he might also be looking for a place to turn into a room so he can have a place to escape to when he wants to stretch out. The Goldstone is clearly not built for Galra bodies like his own.]

[Tim is going to let it drop for now. They could probably go around in circles for a while and until he has an actual game plan to fix the problem there doesn't seem to be a point]

[Oh! He didn't realise Kolivan thought they'd do this now. How does he keep doing this when meeting people here. He should say no; give the bruises time to heal.]

I'm more than happy to spar. We'll have to move somewhere with more space.

Exactly why I asked earlier what your preference for a space was.

[Though he's thinking the boy missed that in favor of this odd quest to make him comfortable.]

Oh! Sorry, did you? Right, we can fly to the Iskaulit? There's a dojo which is quite nice with practice swords and the owner of the space seems quite nice as long as we keep the area blood free.

[Yeah he might have gotten carried away before but he'll duck around Kolivan to head towards the Shuttles]

Very well.

[He can handle that. Typically his sparring sessions are more...vigorous but he can hold back if this is the case. Besides, he wants to see what this boy is capable of rather than try to kill him.

So don't mind him as he ducks along after until they can finally get to the Iskaulit where he feels he can stand at his full height. That...is so much better. Don't mind him while he just towers over you, Robin.]

[Tim will lead Kolivan to Kogarasumaru's dojo and knock lightly before sliding open the door, he'll bow as he did on his first visit before visiting.]

This is Kogarasumaru's dojo. We've only met them once but he didn't seem to mind us using it then.

[Oh Tim has noticed the height difference and yet still went along with this. I mean he's used to most adults towering over him but he could have a child on his shoulders and they'd only just meet Kolivan's eye level.]

He doesn't appear to be in right now.

[But as long as the owner doesn't mind being used then that's fine with him.

Walking further in, he looks at the wooden practice blades before picking a sword of some length to it. This will work for this, he thinks.]

What is your chosen weapon?

[Tim has a brief thought that the weaponry here might be on the small size but Kolivan doesn't seem to have a problem so he'll retrieve the Yari spear that he'd been offered before.]

Usually, a collapsible bo staff but no weaponry comes through so I don't have it anymore.

Are there any rules we should establish first?

[Something he forgot to do with Manji. Regardless of the answer he'll move to the centre of the mats and takes a deep breath before falling into a stance]

The only rules I have ever established for my blades was that no lasting harm could be done that would stop them from performing their duties. Unless you have other rules besides a lack of blood then we can begin.

[Tim will nod] No that's about it.

[With that said Tim will rush forward, leaping and bringing the spear down towards Kolivan's head.]

[Good. The boy has a strong approach and clearly knows how to use the weapon that he's holding. Kolivan can give him that much approval as he grabs the pole to add to the momentum so that the boy will continue swinging past him. At it takes is just a step to the side.]

[Tim will flip to land on his feet at the very least. Kolivan is fast for his size, not completely unexpected but it is a disadvantage. He thinks he's going to be spending a lot of time swinging and missing here.

Regardless he goes in again, spinning the spear to hit at multiple heights, this time testing out Kolivan's reactions and stepping a little closer.]

[Rather than take the time to dodge the strikes one at a time, he ducks low (impressively so for his height) and rushes past Robin to end up behind him. With a swing of his sword, he aims right for his back. The showing of someone used to quick fights rather than lengthy ones.

One doesn't run a spy organization by being sloppy.]

[Too fast! Too fast!

Robin only has enough time to swivel so that he takes hit to his side instead of his spine before he's flung off his feet and rolls along the mats. At the end of his momentum, he's in a crouch barely, one hand on the Yari still, the other holding his side.

Still, he rights himself and takes up a stance again; this time waiting for Kolivan to act first.]

[Adjusting the grip on his sword, he slowly walks forward.]

The Blades of Marmora have a saying. Knowledge or death. I've helped to train all of my people with this in mind. You have a great deal of potential to you but I see you have something else that some of my newest recruits don't always have. The willingness to have patience in combat.

[Knowledge or death. That's certainly an extreme.]

I can see how that saying can foster an all or nothing kind of fighting.

However, there's a saying where I'm from; Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

[Although having Kolivan walk towards him right now he feels like prey. He stands his ground.]

That is correct. We've adapted from the Galra methods of Victory or Death.

[He moves fast and he hits hard as he rushes forward to swing his blade. The only thing he does though is swipe. He wants the boy to have the chance to dodge so he can test his reflexes, even swinging again to make him move. Kolivan understands the need for attacking but sometimes the most valuable thing in a fight is a strong defense.]

[Tim has decided to go low and keep low; like an annoyingly small character in a fighting game. He will actually dodge forward under the second swipe and duck between Kolivan's legs. The Yari hitting at the back of the knee on the way past but it's barely a tap.]

Have you considered a philosophy that isn't so black and white?

Things are not always so easy in the middle of a universal war.

[He allows him to go between his legs but his foot actually comes around while the yari is coming for it, heading straight for Robin's face. And given the size of Kolivan? The reach is impressive.]

[Tim really doesn't need another hit to the face. His arms come up to at least block it but he still goes tumbling backwards. He falls back into a defensive stance]

True, I can't really speak from a place of experience there. Gang wars yes, universal ones, not so much.

We did what we had to. Knowledge or death. Many lives have been lost because of this but they were sacrifices we had to make.

[He walks over to him, looking down as he does.]

You're a stubborn one, I see. Come at me and hold nothing back. I can handle it.

War kinda changes the rules a lot, doesn't it? what is unacceptable at first slowly becomes just another thing to deal with?

[Tim backs up wary and waiting at first]

Whether or not you can handle it was never really under question was it?

[Stubborn is right though. Tim will come at Kolivan again, jumping into a round kick. He'll try to hit two targets at once. His yari swinging for the head as he kicks at the joint just below the shoulder.]

Correct.

[And while it's true that he knows he could destroy this boy if he felt like it he doesn't see a need to say so. Obviously Robin is aware and that's all there is to it.

So when the boy comes he falls into the easy dance with him. Blocking the yari with his sword, the kick with his other arm. Pushing both away, he shifts to jab with his own sword in return.]

[Now that Kolivan appears to want to have a good back and forth, Tim is able to work up a rhythm. He jumps on the sword, years of acrobatic training allowing him to balance and jump to Kolivan's shoulders where he uses the Yari to hit at the shoulders while trying to avoid getting knocked off.]

Thanks, I feel so confident about my abilities now. [Does Kolivan understand sarcasm. He hopes so]

Confidence is a key to staying alive as long as it isn't met with equal parts foolishness. Then it become clumsy or arrogant. Something that will get you killed.

[No. No he does not understand sarcasm.

And he not only takes the blow of the yari against him but he actually grabs at one of Robin's ankles since he's on his shoulders with the clear intention of throwing him off to the side instead.]

No-that was- you know what never mind.

[He may not have all his gadgets but he does have his suit. Press the right button and the whole thing sends out an electrical charge. Normally reserved if he's out cold and someone touches the mask but he sets it off when Kolivan grabs his foot.]
