[Upon awakening on one of the Marsiva's bunks, the tall cyborg flailed in a very unflattering way - metallic limbs struck a nearby wall and with a startled grunt he swung around and landed unceremoniously on the floor. He growls indignantly - his humiliation to be seen by anyone who happens to be nearby and the general audience - before he rises to his full imposing height. Narrowing reptilian eyes, he spies a communicator and picks it up with clawed fingers. It doesn't take him long to figure out how it works and he sends a video message across the network. The narrowed golden eyes are the main indication of how much he's scowling since the rest of his face is hidden by a strangely shaped skull-like mask. His voice is rough and angry.]

If this is a plot of the Jedi and the Republic, you will pay for this outrage. Return me at once.

What have you heard and who has told you these tales?

Well, they have special powers... and are part of a resistance... and some of it's for good and some of it's for bad.

I guess it depended on who was telling the story.

Why? Do you know other people here?

[Keith wasn't ready to out his sources right away.]

None that I have yet encountered, aside from one claiming to be from the future. He did not give me a name nor did I see his face. I did not recognize his voice.

That does happen here. People can be from the same worlds, but different points in time. It's happened to me and others from my world.

How many have claimed to know of the Jedi?

[tempredmental]

I've heard a few people talk about it, but one person I talk to a lot in particular. He's a friend of mine.

[generalgrievous]

What is their name, this friend of yours?

[tempredmental]

I doubt you'd know each other, honestly. I mean, you talk about the Jedi like they still exist, but, for him, they're kind of a thing from the past, so he's probably from your future.

[Keith was sure he didn't want to get Hux in trouble. This new guy sounded rough, and, after what Hux had told him about how some things operated in their world, he didn't want to start something.]

How is that possible?

It's happened to a few people. Apparently, they not only can pull people here from different universes, worlds, and realities, but they can also pull people from different points in time in each of those.

[Keith shrugged.]

It's pretty powerful.

That would be a convenient skill. I will need to talk to this future person.

[tempredmental]

Which would be great, if we remembered what we learned here when we go back home, but we don't.

[Keith sighed, the sound of experience.]

It's happened to me a few times... going home and coming back. I never remember. No one does.

What parts do you forget? If you do remember that you can come and go.

[tempredmental]

When I got back home, I didn't remember the Fleet at all. In fact, it was like I never left. But, when I got back to the Fleet again, all those memories came back to me.

I wasn't even sure what happened, but, coming back to the Fleet, I had all the changes that happened back home. [His eyes shift towards the right, towards the scar on his face.]
