ACTION:
Steve has just about managed to acquaint himself with the strange, new idea that he is now in space when the next curve is thrown his way. One second he's standing in a hallway, just about to walk up and ask someone if they have any idea what he's doing here. The next, he's...on a bridge. With confetti? And are those pudding cups? What the Hell is going on? He blinks around, his first instinct to always look and see if there is some sort of fight about to happen. Hands are in fists and he really wishes his shield was somewhere around here. But he dropped that in the dirt a few months ago, so fat chance.

Steve will stand down slowly, once no one attacks him right off the bat. Sadly, he's been in this position before; in a strange place and time, not knowing why or how. His thoughts are back on Earth and with the friends he's broken out of their floating prison and now, seemingly, abandoned. Maybe there is a way out of here. Or, maybe, he's needed here more? Hopefully someone is going to be able to talk him through it all.


VIDEO:

Many hours later, Steve sends out a broadcast, finally understanding how and wanting to reach out to anyone else that might be here. Anyone else he might know.

"Uh. Hey. My name is Steve Rogers. Hopefully I'm doing this right and you can all see and hear me. I just arrived about..." He looks down at something and then scrubs a hand over his face as though in disbelief. "Two days ago. A lot got packed into those days, it seems. But I'm sure you all know how that feels."

Steve pauses, shifting a bit before getting closer to the camera, face serious. "I've met some people here so I know that what happened to me has happened to a lot of other good people. I have questions and a lot of things I want to look into. But first, I want to know who else is out there. Who else might have the same questions I do and who wants to start getting some answers."

He moves back and tries to smile. "Or who maybe just wants to talk? Anything. So, yeah. Thanks. How do I....um. Is it this butt-"

Video cuts off abruptly.

Wait... So you Captain here and also run the forge? Do you split your time between here and there, then? [And more importantly]

Credits? What are those used for? What can we buy for ourselves with those? Are the stores all in that ship too?

Yes. Given how rarely anything requires my direct involvement, it is easier than you might think. I imagine the same will be true for you- your main challenge will be finding a way to avoid going mad from the boredom.

Not much worth buying on the Iskaulit itself. Food and drink, mostly. But credits can be spent most places we visit, as well as to upgrade the ship. Evidently there are upgrades for your augment, but I have seen no reason to purchase any. You would need to ask someone who has if you wanted more information.

[There is not one part of Steve that is even curious about upgrading the weird thing in his head. He thinks back to Bucky and what was done to him and almost shudders to think he has something like that in his own head now. It feels like such as stunning violation of one's own autonomy even though it doesn't seem to be doing much outside of providing information]

Food and drink will probably be important for me. My metabolism is a lot larger than most humans so I need to eat a lot. I can manage with the flavorless gel so I don't deplete resources, but if there is real food somewhere, that will be for the best.

[He pauses, thinking to himself]

Maybe I'll even think about opening something. Might be worthwhile to see the Iskaulit more...

Noted. The next time we visit a tolerable planet, I will gather enough to feed a fellow Tetramand. And then adjust accordingly.

[It was...incredibly unlikely Steve would actually need to eat more than that, but at least starting there would let her err on the side of caution. She wouldn't even force Hux to subsist entirely on the protein goo, at least not unless it was as punishment. She wasn't about to allow anyone on her ship to do so due to an oversight on her part.]

You may take a shuttle whenever one is available. You should already know how to pilot it. I would offer to take you along on one of my visits, but they are...restrictive, when I am aboard.

[And Steve doesn't look like he could fit in the trunk. Not in one piece, anyway.]

I think it might be a little bit before I am ready to...accept that I know how to fly these alien machines. But thank you for the permission, Captain.
