[Accidental video post]

[There's a bunch of noise and static before people see a cat paw clawing at the screen and a curious meow coming from it. Eventually the screen becomes less blurry as they see an up close view of an orange tabby kitten trying to chew the top corner of the data pad.

There's some noise in the background of someone taking apart a heavy metal piece. That quickly stops and there's some clanking as tools are placed down and a wary sigh follows.]

Millicent! What did I say about leaving that alone?! You have your own toys to play with.

[The feed is abruptly turned off as a gloved hand picks up the orange tabby and pockets the device.]

That's good then.

I see. Interesting how they are. She wants your attention so she is going to get it one way or another even if it means knocking things down.

That might be wise if she wants to knock your tools over in the endeavor of getting your attention. It might require some storage that she is not able to get into.

I'm sure eventually she will. When she is a bit older. Younger animals, just like younger sentient beings, tend to have less control than they do when they are older.

That would be my thought. It might help her to understand, for example, she's not going to get food at this time, but also to know food is coming at a later time.

I don't think much else is required for a creature of that size. However, someone who knows more about them is better equipped to answer than I.

Rewarding her for something good would likely help as well.

Good. Their advice will be far more helpful than mine. I am not familiar with that species after all. My advice is just what seems logical.

Thank you. I do try to offer relevant advice if it is being asked for.
