I know a ten year old who is quite literally the world's greatest detective. And I know a dwarf that's approaching gods know how old who still can't do his godsdamn only job we brought him along to do and won't fuckin' heal anyone.

What is there to be stubborn about? Make sure the rest of the party doesn't friggin' die. Is that hard to do? Considering if we beef it, then so does he, you'd think there wouldn't be that much to be stubborn about.

I'd do that with Merle, but the dumbass has died more than any of us apparently.

Otherwise I wouldn't have known him. Also the time in Refuge where we all died in a time loop like...a lot, but that wasn't quiiite the same seeing as we died, sure, but ever crossed to the Astral Plane.

[But also? Of course Lup knows this kid. Between the two of them, they probably know most of the interesting people here, so why not also this kid? Taako blinks in surprise for a moment then rolls his eyes.]

Cooking show - celebrity chef and all that it entails. Established my brand, had fans, merch, the works. Used magic in the show so people young and old alike were drawn in.

It means I'm an excellent cook.

[Was. Is? Is still? It's hard to say. He cooks here a lot, uses his magic again like he used to, but it still feels...off.]

Oh wow! That's great! It's one of the few places I can go since they tend to look down on teens in bars. The food there is fantastic too.

Hell yeah it is - I'm makin' it. Uptick in ingredients too, since I arrived. No more synthetic anything. I cook with one hundo percent real food or I don't serve it.

You should just sneak into the bar though. It's not like an ale here or there is going to kill you.
