[ It's been quite a while since Dorian made a public broadcast, but all things considered, someone should do it, and why not him? He's nice to look at, has a way with words, and in a thoroughly bad mood. Still, no one would be able to tell with that public mask he has.

The feed opens up on a booth at Malum, A close-up of Dorian and his glass of wine. ]

For those of you who have somehow not noticed, a great number of our own have left this cold, dismal place that has yet to reward us for their invasive and cruel treatment of us. [ An elegant eyebrow raises and his mouth draws into a line. ]

The most appalling is their lack of proper spirits, however, this will have to do. The very least we deserve is a decent meal and a proper, stiff drink- perhaps twenty. It is an insignificantly small mercy that the ones who are no longer with us don't have to suffer the Atroma and their churlish silent treatment.

[ Grieving, who's grieving? He tips his glass toward his communicator in thanks, expression turning into a smile. ] You are entirely too good to me, Cyril. I'm currently working on Malum and its frightfully abysmal collection.

[The Bull doesn't bother with a video response, because, among many things, the former Ben-Hassrath has always been able to see straight through Dorian's veneer of outer calm. He isn't 100% certain what Dorian's so depressed about, but in some way, he's taken a blow from which he's finding it difficult to recover.

Malum isn't his favorite place, but it's one he'll visit for his Kadan. His shadow is hard to mistake even before he has a seat next to him.]

Hey, big guy. You look like you could use some cheering up.

I'm not sure there's such a thing as being too good to you, Dorian. I will meet you there?

[ The Bull's presence, while sometimes overbearing, is a much needed thing right now. However, it interrupts his process of drinking and bottling everything somewhere in the pit of his stomach until he vomits later. He wants to be annoyed that his normal coping mechanism and facade are being toyed with, but Bull is.. frighteningly astute when it comes to his own behaviors. Sometimes it seems as if he knows himself more than Dorian. He feels more than sees Bull approach, because everything about Bull is massive- especially the light he blocks when he enters a room. Dorian allows the almost-affection of sitting astride him and merely raises an eyebrow. ] After being trapped in that metal hellscape for an entire month, don't you?

[ Dorian laughs, light and airy. ] Of course there isn't, there's no limit to what I deserve.

[Natasha and Dorian have never been formally introduced, which seems odd considering she's been aware of him for months and months. Probably she's not the company he's looking for right now. That's part of why she responds by video. Easier to ignore.]

A bit of both, but one mustn't get attached, as it's quite obvious what happens on a regular basis. [ He makes a vague hand gesture. ]

Shall I order something for you since you're on your way?

Yes. Please do. Surprise me. And I'll be there soon.

[He disconnects for now so that he can make it to the bar.

Once he's there, he walks up to Dorian's side.]

It does. [Arching an eyebrow ironically. She's had similar thoughts herself. Usually because she went and got attached.] So that does sound like good advice, not getting attached.

Doesn't it just? [ Of course, he's not making a statement that he hasn't gotten attached. His current paramour being a prime example that he's simply running his mouth. ] I am, more often than not, filled to the brim with good advice, though it is seldom that people heed it. What I am more full of in the time being is wine. [ He drains his glass and pours himself another from the bottle on the table. Oh look, how convenient. ]

You know I am always filled with surprises, my dear Inquisitor. [ Whoop, there's that sultry, flirtatious cadence of his. Once Cyril has arrived, Dorian makes a motion for him to sit down. There's a pint of horrid beer sitting across from him for the elf. ] My, what a sight for sore eyes.

[Cyril takes the beer and smiles at Dorian.]

Oh, I know. I've no idea how I handled being without your glorious presence.

And yet somehow you've prospered. Tell me, Cyril, how have things been treating you?

[samahl]

Well enough, I think.

Though, this new batch of disappearances.... [He isn't going to be the first to bring her up, but it leaves the door open for them to talk about her if Dorian needs.]

Nothing says sage advice like high functioning alcoholism.

[Deadpan, absolute deadpan.]

Has anyone showed up to keep you company, at least? Same to drink alone.

[fantachetic]

[ Dorian makes a noise in the back of his throat in acknowledgement, taking a generous drink of his wine until it's gone. ] Everything tends to be better when we're not crammed on a ship all together and forced to share our darkest secrets.

Not so far, no. Apparently there is something off-putting about a devastatingly handsome man drinking alone in a bar. [ He sighs dramatically. ]

Oh yeah, that will make you real unpopular. [It couldn't possibly be any other factor.] Do you actually want company, or prefer to give yourself alcohol poisoning alone?

[samahl]

[Cyril hums, though it's not clear what he's thinking.]

Did they expose any of your secrets this time around?

[fantachetic]

[ None whatsoever. Because of course Bull has told her only about how wonderful and flawless at everything he is. ] I..would not be opposed to it. Especially in the presence of someone equally as attractive.

Not that I'm aware of, thank the Maker.

Well, if it's attractive company you're looking for...

[She drawls it out, clearly sarcastic.]
