So it seems that not everything is as it was when we went into the calibrations. Of course we have added crew members to various ships and I would like to welcome them.

It is also regrettable that the Blameless has lost their previous captain as I have been promoted to the position. I hope though that he is well.

[For the first part after returning, Ulaz spends a great deal of time on the Blameless almost as if nothing has happened, taking over the captain's positions. But his crew will notice that at least initially, he is spending more time sitting in the dining room.

It is also likely that on the first evening, the crew and anyone who might be visiting will notice a random bottle of beer sitting in front of the door to the captain's room. It's full and unopened and just... there. If it gets removed, eventually another will appear in its place later in the evening.

The second day, the one that was there last is removed by Ulaz and another one doesn't replace it.

During this time, he can also be found on the Iskaulit as well, doing his usual training.

[The first evening, as soon as the sun has properly set and it has been given at least what he considers a decent amount of time, Ulaz heads to Biffy and Lyall's room. He pauses at the door for a moment and then knocks]

[Keith continued to look around, only coming back to the desk once Ulaz had the treats.]

[Ulaz had no problem with him looking. It had been decorated after all. Might as well have someone enjoy it rather than it be just him]

One of the previous planets. I got them after taking care of Procyon once when Shiro wasn't here.

So... don't use them quick, got it.

[Keith managed a small smile at that.]

Though, I am curious if there's a way to make them...

If you want to keep those, no. But I don't see the point in saving them either if you think he deserves treats.

There should be a way to make them. I doubt the ingredients are really that hard to obtain planet side.

Yeah. I'm not sure I'd trust the pastes and gels here on the ships as far as feeding them to animals. We've been making sure to reserve fresh stuff for the other pets as we get it. I'd like to try to do the same for him if I can.

[It wasn't easy, but he was trying.]

No, I would not feed the animals with these. I'm fairly concerned about feeding myself with these. I will do my best to help look next time we are planet side.

[Keith slipped the package into his pocket.]

[Ulaz sighs at the question. That seemed like a hard question at the moment even though it was so simple and the most expected]

I will be. [Maybe not right now, but he will be] What about you?

[Keith hesitated, but nodded.]

Yeah... same.

[He managed a weak smile.]

I'm not right now... but I will be.

[He turned, moving to head out of the lab since they were basically done in there.]

[They are done in the lab so Ulaz will follow him out]

We are in the same boat then. We should check in with the other paladins and see how they are doing.

[Keith nodded.]

Pidge is gone, too... so it's just me, Lance, and Allura right now.

[It hurt. They had almost the whole team here at one point. Now, they were all disappearing. Keith was beginning to worry that he might end up left behind alone.

Because that would be his luck, wouldn't it...]

I'm sorry to hear that. We will do what we can with the team that we do have.

[Ulaz reached over to put his hand on Keith's shoulder. Attempting to reassure him, he would not be left alone]

[In that way, Keith was lucky. He still had his ties to the Blade of Marmora. If he did end up the only person left from Team Voltron, Kolivan, Ulaz, and his mom were still here.

Not that it didn't mean they couldn't go away, either... but it was something.

Keith gave Ulaz a small smile of thanks.]

Yeah. We will.

[Ulaz gave him a faint smile in return. He knows this must really be hard for Keith, losing such a good friend]

Would you care for something to drink? While you are here.

[Keith shook his head.]

No, it's fine. Thanks, though. I think I'll just head back.
