Arrival time
Who: Lea and YOU
Broadcast: Yes
Action: On the Tourist
When: After calibrations/a few days after
Broadcast
[After waking up in what is apparently his new room, he spends only enough time to figure out if he's some sort of prisoner before he decides he can just sort of ask people what is up here. Because yeah he's gotten some explanations but it's one thing to show up right when there's dream rooms and then suddenly arriving here. Like nothing happened.
And so there's a red head on the screen.]
Hey, so should I be expecting the waking up in different places every few days thing to happen all the time? Because that's one I can do without. Weird though it might be I like having a consistent place to sleep in.
[He shrugs and smiles.]
Anyway, the name's Lea. Looks like I'm stuck here now and I got assigned to be on the Tourist.
[He fishes some extra confetti out of his hair.]
Nice greeting though. Buuuuut I'm not volunteering for clean up.
Tourist
[And then it's time for him to make himself familiar with his new ship. He's been on ships in the past when visiting other worlds but this one has a different layout. Almost like he's in some kind of maze based on how cramped it feels. Though he appreciates the high ceilings. That's a bonus when you're tall.
But expect him to poke his head in basically every room at least once. You can't get to know a place if you don't at least see what's in a room, you know. And maybe he's a bit nosy too. It's a bad habit of his, one he's never really bothered to break.
Just don't mind that he looks almost suspicious being a guy in a long black trench coat though. He's fine. Really.]
Iskaulit
[Honestly the same happens with Iskaulit. If he sees a door then he pokes his nose in. Though in this case it's more because he's finding that there's so much going on that it's easier to become lost. Sure he could focus the whole attack stuff he remembers going on but honestly? He's going to keep himself out of trouble until he knows what is going on. That world order stuff that he's been learning about. He doesn't know what goes on with this one yet and he's been disarmed.
It's crazy.
But yeah. He's a little lost on such a big ship and so the best way to get unlost is to start memorizing landmarks. Shipmarks in this case. So please don't mind him as he goes poking his nose around here too. He's just curious.]

no subject
[He's not sure if he's thrilled by either option. Then again, this is the guy who adores sea-salt ice cream so he's not going to be that big on...well anything Jim just offered.]
How about that trip to the bar then?
[Lea's really not going to shy away from the fact that no way is he going to want any of what was just offered. He's in his twenties and still drinks things like he's a kid.]
no subject
[ Kirk nodded with a little smile, going to get his shoes and slip them on. ]
If you just arrived you've probably been on the Marsiva most of the time, right? Have you been to the Iskaulit at all?
no subject
[Leaning against the wall, he crosses his arms.]
Buuut I haven't been on the Iskaulit yet. I was busy learning my way around this ship first.
no subject
No, you just happened to arrive at an odd time. Normally, people spend about a week there when the get assigned.
Well, the Iskaulit is what one might call the community ship. It's got a gym, a salon, two bars, a library - basically the entertainment ship if you can't find it here. Which considering the layout of our ship... might be easier just going to the Iskaulit.
[ His smile is wry as he motioned for Lea to come with him, slipping out the door. ]
You flown a shuttle yet?
no subject
no subject
Sure, if they want to get between ships. Now I wouldn't put in charge of the ship's controls, but a shuttle is a simpler thing. You can watch me on the way over, and then you can fly on the way back. How does that sound?
no subject
[He shrugs a bit as he follows him through the ship.]
By the way, anyone ever tell you the ship looks like a maze?
no subject
Not to hard. Thankfully, I don't think Atroma would let the shuttles get to far from the main ships anyways, so there's no worry about you getting lost on the way back.
[ He's kidding. Maybe. He laughed at the second comment, working his way back up to where the shuttles were. ]
Yeah, you get used to that. Whoever designed this really didn't have the human body structure in mind.

Your hair definitely isn't made for these halls either.
[ He held his and up above his head a little to indicate the spikes, but leaves a smile to show his teasing if his tone didn't give it away. ]
Does make you wonder who this ship was really made for.
no subject
[He sure is sulking because excuse you.]
And probably aliens.
no subject
Nothing's wrong with it. But it is impressive.
[ Though he does worry how you are going to find all the product necessary to keep the spikes. ]
Most likely. We scavenged the Iskaulit, it's not hard to imagine the others were cobbled together as well.
[ He wound his way through the maze to where the shuttle was, opening it up and motioning for Lea to get inside. ]
Have you ever met aliens before?
no subject
[Excuse him now while he preens.]
Anyway, yeah. I've met aliens. I'm talking to one right now.
[See. Now he's just being a smart ass.]
no subject
[ He blinked at Axel as the engines started and then let out a burst of a laugh. ]
All right, you got me there. I suppose I should have phrased my question differently - have you met any other being that is not humanoid?
