[Pavel is poking about his new ship, as one does, when he rather unexpectedly comes across Prompto and an array of guns. Weapons on the table aren't odd--Pavel did live on a ship with Daryl for a long time--but he's a bit surprised to find Prompto with a small armory.]

[He smiles and nods his greeting, hands busy reassembling one of the fancier pistols. ]

They are, yes. [He doesn't sound entirely sure.] Er... actually, I have no idea what makes one nicer than another, but I'm willing to trust your assessment.

Well, this is my favorite. [He holds up a fancy silver number.] Her name is Lionheart.

Phaser, huh? [He can guess what that is from context.] Yeah! She turned up on that planet with the crazy mist.

I'm glad that you were able to find something more than mist and nightmares on that planet.

[He's excited anyway. Guns are cool.]

It is! Or I think that it is. I would be happy to tell you more about phased energy weaponry someday, if you are curious.

I have no idea what that is, so... perhaps?

[He might zone out with lectures, but diagrams he can do. Even better if there's something physical he can handle and tear apart, but he'll take what he can get.]

The giant birds. They called them something else, but they were totally totally chocobos, like what we have back home!

Oh, the racing horse birds! I did see them, yes, but only from a distance. Were they friendly? Or are they friendly, I should ask.

They were awesome. Back home, we used them to travel over places where the car couldn't go.

I am sincerely envious. [There is zero sarcasm here. He rode a horse once, he has a great appreciation for animals as modes of transportation.] Have you missed that? Always traveling in shuttles and ships must be boring in comparison.
