[She watches him for a few moments, quiet and contemplative.]

What were you hoping to find?

Right now? I'm just looking for differences. I want to see if there's more information than last time. Maybe, eventually, we'll get enough, you know? Enough that we can find a way out.

[Though, that last part was said with a little bit of trepidation. As important as it was to get home again, Keith was painfully aware of his situation with Lance... and Allura. It was a small point of contention that he kept worrying about, despite Lance's best efforts to live in the moment here in the Fleet. It just kept nagging at the back of Keith's mind.

Though, he was still doing his best to ignore it for Lance's sake.]

[She nods quietly and lets out a soft sigh, rubbing at her face. Veronica leans back into the couch, thinking for a few moments.]

Yeah, maybe. Apparently it spits people back out though, so we might have to wait for that.

[tempredmental]

Yeah. We haven't been able to access the Marsiva at any other time other than that first bit after our arrival, and then during calibrations.

It's frustrating.

[He put the notebooks aside for now, also leaning back with a sigh.]

I don't know... maybe I should wait a bit and look at this after I've been away from it for a bit. It could be too fresh, you know?

[Sometimes, he could see things better if he walked away from something for a little while and came back to it later.]

I see. [Veronica lapses into a thoughtful silence. The Marsiva then likely holds answers, if it's the only ship that the fleet can't access. And even when she had arrived, there was only dead ends. Keith has a point; Atroma probably has something hidden there that could help them go home.

Keith is talking again, and she blinks, looking back at him and taking a moment to process what he's said.]

Yeah, that's good. And honestly, Keith? We may not have a way to even interpret this at all. In that case, I would say it's not worth losing sleep over.

[Another short pause...]

Lance is the same augment as you though, isn't he? Maybe he can help.

[tempredmental]

[Keith nodded.] He is. I'll ask him if he'd been able to catch anything in a way that he saved it.

[Though, honestly, Keith had been using his own little investigation as a way to keep his mind off the fact that Pidge and Shiro were gone. Keith was tired of having Shiro taken like that. It was like someone just liked ripping open that emotional scar every few months.]

[Veronica gives him a small smile, nudging his shoulder with hers gently. It's been a rough couple of months, that's for sure. But she's glad that she has people she can rely on here.]

[Keith smiled in return, huffing a small chuckle through his nose.]

Same goes for you, yeah? If you need anything... [He hoped that she knew it already, but it didn't hurt to say it.]

[Keith ducked his head, trying to dodge the hair ruffling. Et tu, Vero? Like Shiro didn't do that enough already. He still chuckled a little.]
