[Appearing on the bridge in a shower of confetti with some chocolate pudding in her hand was a bit... odd. And very startling. She hadn't had much time on the Marsiva to come to terms with her new situation before she was suddenly here. Be prepared for a small freak out, Red Fish.

Later, she could be found exploring the ship and familiarizing herself with everything she needed to know, including that new Personnel office that apparently was hers?

Oh... it's on. Hi! I'm Minako Aino, and I'm apparently the new personnel officer on the Red Fish? [She paused, staring at the small device for a moment, muttering a little quietly.] I don't fully know what that means... [And then she looked surprised suddenly as she realized that she hadn't sent this to just the Red Fish crew.]

Oh! Oops. [She laughed nervously.] I meant to just send this to my own crew, but it looks like I sent it to everyone. Sorry about that!

[And she was gone again... Did she disconnect on purpose or by accident?!]

Beats me what the hell a personnel officer is really supposed to do around here, either, but - figure it helps if you know who the personnel are.

[There was a moment of hesitation and then she shook his hand in return. Right... that was a thing in western cultures. She gave him a small polite bow.]

Thank you for understanding. Video phones are kind of an advanced and special thing back home. Not really something everyone has, you know? [She poked her fingers together for a second, almost like she was debating something to say next, and then nodded her head in a quick bow. After all, it wasn't like Sansa would see a full one.]

It's my pleasure, I assure you. We don't have video phones at all where I come from, actually. We communicate solely by words on paper and if you need them to go quickly, you attach them to a raven or send it by courier. It took me a long time to learn this.

( She's better at it now, of course, but it's taken her quite a long time to learn the intricacies of it. )

A little! We have things like electricity, and airships... and some other things. But I'd never heard of a computer until I got here, and I definitely didn't know it was possible to travel in space...

Well, we have electricity, and computers, and we can fly in airplanes, and there have been trips into outerspace to the Moon. But, nothing like what this is here.

Where do you hail from, Minako? Most people here are from Earth, so far as I can tell. I am not but I would say the majority are.
