[Appearing on the bridge in a shower of confetti with some chocolate pudding in her hand was a bit... odd. And very startling. She hadn't had much time on the Marsiva to come to terms with her new situation before she was suddenly here. Be prepared for a small freak out, Red Fish.

Later, she could be found exploring the ship and familiarizing herself with everything she needed to know, including that new Personnel office that apparently was hers?

Welp. How was that supposed to work?]

Oh... it's on. Hi! I'm Minako Aino, and I'm apparently the new personnel officer on the Red Fish? [She paused, staring at the small device for a moment, muttering a little quietly.] I don't fully know what that means... [And then she looked surprised suddenly as she realized that she hadn't sent this to just the Red Fish crew.]

Oh! Oops. [She laughed nervously.] I meant to just send this to my own crew, but it looks like I sent it to everyone. Sorry about that!

[And she was gone again... Did she disconnect on purpose or by accident?!]

Oh, wow. [Minako's eyes widened at that.] Really? I'm a little further along than that. [Well... a lot.] But this is way more advanced than I'm used to.

Ah, well, you're already doing better than I am! It could be much worse, I assure you. ( Sansa smiles a bit. )

I should ask you for lessons.

Well, I definitely don't mind sharing what I do know, even if it might not be much.

Where do you hail from, Minako? Most people here are from Earth, so far as I can tell. I am not but I would say the majority are.

( Sansa has gotten used to being the only person from Westeros aside from Tyrion and honestly, she's glad for it. )

I'm also from Earth. [Mostly, but she skipped that for now. It was easier not to get into those details.] From Japan, specifically. I've traveled a bit, I've been to England and a few other places in Europe and Asia, but I've spent most of my life in Japan.

If you're not from Earth, then where?

Westeros, actually. I've not heard of Japan before. Most of the people I've met here have told me about the United States, so I'm more used to hearing about that place than anywhere else.

( This is something new and intriguing so Sansa's interest is definitely piqued. )

What is Japan like, then? I love hearing about new places and new worlds.

I haven't heard of Westeros. Is that a country or a whole world?

[Minako considered it.]

Well, it's an island country. A long one from north to south, and lots of mountains. There are a lot of people there, so it's pretty crowded, especially in large cities. But it's very polite. I think it's one of the most polite I've been to... though I've only been to a few other places.

We don't have the crazy technology they have here, but we have a decent amount of stuff... like computers and TVs, and all that.

Westeros is one country; there are many others in the world but it's the only one I've ever been in.

( When she speaks of Japan, Sansa listens carefully. She's never heard it described before but it seems nice. An island of nice people? She thinks she could get used to that. )

We have mountains in a part of my home called the Vale. It's not an island, though, but those are the only mountains I've ever seen. Have you ever climbed them or do you live in the city?

Is it hard to travel in your world?

[Minako shook her head.]

I haven't. I've been in them, but we took a car to get there. It was a hot spring and bath house we went to visit.

I live in something called a suburb. It's just outside a major city, but definitely not way up in the mountains or farms. So, we have small houses, and pieces of land. The city is nearby, though, and we've gone a lot.

It takes ages to get anywhere in Westeros. It took us a month to get from my home in Winterfell to the capital at King's Landing. Places it takes us mere hours to get to with the ships would take us the better part of weeks.

( Sansa smiles a bit, bewildered as usual at how different other people's worlds are from her own. )

This place never ceases to amaze me, the sorts of people it brings.

That sounds hard. We used to be that way back home. Now, we're not as advanced as things are here, but we have faster transportation than we used to.

I've seen quite a few different people already. It's definitely interesting!

What position do you have on the ship?

I'm in communications at the moment. Did they assign you any augments?

( Sansa knows that sometimes people get civilian ones, like hers the last time. )

[Minako nodded.]

I got a civilian one... personnel officer, it's called. I think it's kind of a morale type of position.

Oh! I had that the last time I was in the Fleet. Did you get a personal office along with it? I had the opportunity to speak with members of my ship if they needed counseling.

( Sansa thinks she only did it one time but it had been a nice enough augment, for what it was. )

Counseling for what?

[Minako was curious.]

I wasn't really sure entirely what Personnel Officer meant, so I've kind of been gathering ideas from everything.

If they're having difficulty adjusting or if something is weighing on their mind. Like I said, only one person ever took advantage of it, but I was glad to be there all the same.

( Minako is bright and easy to talk to; Sansa imagines she'll do well in personnel. )

[Minako nodded.]

I'll have to remember that. Getting advice from others on what they're looking for from a personnel officer is definitely helping.
